Currently lm not able to decide between 2 offers. Product management Offer 1: TransUnion 19lpa with 2lpa variable included in it. How do you handle a CD that overrides everything to do with web/UX/UI for their own opinions and tastes? A few months ago the same CD admitted to having no new web knowledge since the mid 90's...

My team and I have provided research/data backed design choices but our CD could care less. We present our ideas in a respectful manner but it seems he interprets it as a threat to his authority. It makes for a frustrating work environment and our products aren't nearly as successful as they could be.

My partner has, for the last 3 years, been the co-head of a business unit within an investment bank. Six months ago, the role of sole head of the business unit was advertised, interviews took place and after a lengthy process, the decision has been made to appointed my partner as the head, but no change the job grade! The reasons given are so that my partner may further upskill stakeholder management skills. Review in grading and salary in 6 months more. Is this reasonable?

Recently moved in-house from big law. Does anyone else find in-house a little ... lonely? Maybe it’s because we’re remote now, or because I’m the new kid on the block trying to make friends. Either way, I’m missing the camaraderie I had at my firm.
