I've know a couple analysts get a bump to Senior 2/3. It's 50/50. If they stay on the same product where they are supported and bumped up they will do alright. If they move to another project I've seen them burn pretty quickly. Last project had a SM tear into a girl who was only 2 years into her career and didn't know how to do much more than an analyst would. She was pushed out of the project when the SOW was refreshed. Felt bad for her, she was a suck up and played the game, but reality was cruel to her.
^usually takes 2 years to hit SC at most firms. So that's really common
As a client id be appalled if im getting billed SC rates someone with 2 years exp
No. Consultant and then SC in Advisory. We don't have Analysts.
How so? Its 2 years analyst, 2 years C at D
Ah at DC yes, Advisory at big4 is 2 year staff and then SC.
^no I believe analyst/consultant is in general at deloitte how it works before senior consultant. Not just deloitte consulting, also advisory
Analyst is not a level at Deloitte advisory...unless something changed. Is analyst a level now at EY?
^good to know!
