I am in the process of converting from contract to full time and messaged the hiring manager asking to negotiate for a 7% increase on top of the initial pay increase i’d be getting once converted to full time. Are CLMs worth it? Just joined my first in house position; am the only lawyer and currently all contracts are all saved on GDrive with no other organization. My main desire is to get them organized/stay on top of deadlines and make sure the right people know their obligations, but it seems like I can do this on excel. My partner has a trip planned that we’ve all been prepping for (first time either of us have left the others in our toddler’s lifetime).
