Wow. That PwC offer gets less tempting by the day.
KPMG does. I expense like 20 every single day for meals
A reminder - this is an IRS issue. If the firms did this it would be non-deductible to them or income to you. No one is going to voluntarily take that kind of hit.
OP it would be an expense reimbursement (if a client would accept it) with no offsetting deductible expense, so taxable revenue to the firm and the employee.
Lol not CohnReznick.
Taxed as income at deloitte for wfh.
0 expensed meals in 16 months of WFH despite many late nights past midnight
Just dinner at EY. Lunch on weekends/holidays
EY6 - PPEDs can also expense it as a “team building” lunch
RSM you get a free meal if you work 11 hours or more on a weekday or 5 hours or more on a weekend
This has been the policy at Moss. But they just changed it to be billable hours instead of totally hours.
Free but is there a limit? Are you taxed on it?
There isn't a limit but we are all well aware if we go crazy with it we could lose our privilege- I stay under 25$ a meal which is really easy. We've had this policy for awhile now and I definitely have not seen it added to my paycheck in anyway shape or form nor did they indicate it would be.
It is $25 at EY.
Seems $20 at KPMG.
What about Deloitte? What is the limit?
$20 at D.
