Any firms confirm yet they will not require vaccines? I'll need somewhere to go if it happens here.

I really don’t understand the big deal in getting the vaccine even if your healthy to help end the pandemic here, especially with the upcoming FDA approval. Now it’s becoming stupidly political and people are drawing unnecessary lines in the sand and some are losing jobs over what now just has to be a political stance.

Not too soon, just irrelevant

Really interesting to see a bunch accountants who have never taken an upper level biology course try to explain why they shouldn't be vaccinated.

If I wasn't born with it, it's my human and American citizen right to be skeptical about a foreign, unapproved substance entering my body. It's too bad common sense and logic-based thinking aren't college subjects - it's what is lacking most in this country. You don't need a biology degree or any degree for that matter to question the corrupt entities that act as our overlords under the guise of "safety" or "science"

PWC3- it’s impossible to go through rigorous testing without the proper length of trials, standard medical protocols. Good luck with your jabs and boosters, hopefully you get a benign batch.

Get ready to leave and have nowhere to go. Will put my entire annual comp package on every firm mandating it once FDA full approval happens shortly.

It astounds me how far up your rear your head must be. Zero…I repeat, ZERO chance “every firm” mandates a vaccine.

ME: CDC, should I get poked if I already had Covid?

CDC: “Yes, you should be poked regardless of whether you already had COVID-19. That’s because experts do not yet know how long you are protected from getting sick again after recovering from COVID-19.”

ME: Oh, okay, we don’t know how long natural immunity lasts. Got it. So, how long does poke-induced immunity last?

CDC: “There is still a lot we are learning about COVID-19 pokes and CDC is constantly reviewing evidence and updating guidance. We don’t know how long protection lasts for those who are poked.”

ME: Okay … but wait a second. I thought you said the reason I need the poke was because we don’t know how long my natural immunity lasts, but it seems like you’re saying we ALSO don’t know how long poke immunity lasts either. So, how exactly is the poke immunity better than my natural immunity?

CDC: …

ME: Uh … alright. But, haven’t there been a bunch of studies suggesting that natural immunity could last for years or decades?

CDC: Yes.

NEWYORKTIMES: “Years, maybe even decades, according to a new study.”

ME: Ah. So natural immunity might last longer than poke immunity?

CDC: Possibly. You never know.

ME: Okay. If I get the poke, does that mean I won’t get sick?

BRITAIN: Nope. We are just now entering a seasonal spike and about half of our infections and hospital admissions are poked people.

ME: CDC, is this true? Are there a lot of people in the U.S. catching Covid after getting the poke?

CDC: We stopped tracking breakthrough cases. We accept voluntary reports of breakthroughs but aren’t out there looking for them.

ME: Does that mean that if someone comes in the hospital with Covid, you don’t track them because they’ve been poked? You only track the UN-poked Covid cases?

CDC: That’s right.

ME: Oh, okay. Hmm. Well, if I can still get sick after I get the poke, how is it helping me?

CDC: We never said you wouldn’t get sick. We said it would reduce your chances of serious illness or death.

ME: Oh, sorry. Alright, exactly how much does it reduce my chance of serious illness or death.

CDC: We don’t know “exactly.”

ME: Oh. Then what’s your best estimate for how much risk reduction there is?

CDC: We don’t know, okay? Next question.

ME: Um, if I’m healthy and don’t want the poke, is there any reason I should get it?

CDC: Yes, for the collective.

ME: How does the collective benefit from me getting poked?

CDC: Because you could spread the virus to someone else who might get sick and die.

ME: Can a poked person spread the virus to someone else?

CDC: Yes.

ME: So if I get poked, I could still spread the virus to someone else?

CDC: Yes.

ME: But I thought you just said, the REASON I should get poked was to prevent me spreading the virus? How does that make sense if I can still catch Covid and spread it after getting the poke?

CDC: Never mind that. The other thing is, if you stay unpoked, there’s a chance the virus could possibly mutate into a strain that escapes the pokes protection, putting all poked people at risk.

ME: So the poke stops the virus from mutating?

CDC: No.

ME: So it can still mutate in poked people?

CDC: Yes.

ME: This seems confusing. If the poke doesn’t stop mutations, and it doesn’t stop infections, then how does me getting poked help prevent a more deadly strain from evolving to escape the poke?

CDC: You aren’t listening, okay? The bottom line is: as long as you are unpoked, you pose a threat to poked people.

ME: But what KIND of threat??

CDC: The threat that they could get a serious case of Covid and possibly die.

ME: My brain hurts. Didn’t you JUST say that the poke doesn’t keep people from catching Covid, but prevents a serious case or dying? Now it seems like you’re saying poked people can still easily die from Covid even after they got the poke just by running into an unpoked person! Which is it??

CDC: That’s it, we’re hanging up now.

ME: Wait! I just want to make sure I understand all this. So, even if I ALREADY had Covid, I should STILL get poked, because we don’t know how long natural immunity lasts, and we also don’t know how long poke immunity lasts. And I should get the poke to keep a poked person from catching Covid from me, but even if I get the poke, I can give it to the poked person anyways. And, the other poked person can still easily catch a serious case of Covid from me and die. Do I have all that right?

ME: Um, hello? Is anyone there?

Legit question for the antivax folks on here - why do you think cases, deaths, and hospitalizations went down so much before the delta variant surges in the US?

For associates who are not fully vaccinated and have a job that cannot be performed remotely, please reach out to your local HR Representive.

If you have not done so already, please send a copy of your vaccine card to ‐------------@marcum. "

They gotta protect them for like 30 years or something like that. Also I do think if mandated as term of employment they’re liable for vaccine injury since big pharma off the hook. They may want to look into that.

https://www.openvaers.com/covid-data

There are more reported deaths from the vaccine than covid deaths between the ages 20-30. I’ll take my chances with covid at a 99.99% survival rate for my age group and take the lovely antibodies that come with it.

likefunny

Wow. Just wow. Wishing death on someone? Yikes.

like

Asking a serious question, for those who don’t want the vaccine, would you be willing to go to a doctor’s office and get infected willingly? Meaning they would have a simple spray of just virus and saline, they spritz you, and you walk out. And your body takes it from there. No worry about what’s in the vaccine. And if COVID isn’t that bad, then you fight the virus off, and have natural immunity, and don’t have to worry about catching it anymore.

like

That's called being a human being. You do realize people got sick before COVID right? If you don't want to risk ever catching anything, stay home forever.

I am so tired of people refusing the vaccine and making this pandemic last so much longer than it needs to as the virus mutates. Two steps forward, three steps back.

I’ve heard from nurses that patients are begging for vaccines on their death beds, basically asking for the vaccine as a last resort when there’s nothing left to help save them and it’s really sad because there’s so much misinformation going around. I’m all for freedom of choice and 100% agree that getting vaccinated should be a decision that you make with your doctor and not because the government or your employer is forcing you to do it. I wish everyone would shut off the news and get off Facebook and talk to your nurse/doctor/pharmacy friends and ask them how their 2020 was, I would bet they tell you it was a lot worse than the normal flu season.

like

Okay

You mentioned that you discussed with your doctor and your doctor advised you not to get it. That’s a medical exception.

Even if a company requires the vaccine they have to allow for medical and religious exceptions.

like

Honestly I think overall we’re going to be moving further away from vaccines. Each variant is reducing the effectiveness. WHO is saying not to move to a 3rd booster because so many haven’t had their first dose. Eventually it’s just going to be something else we deal with it similar to the flu vax.

like

We’re not allowed to say that because the goal is 0 covid now and people get mad when you say reasonable ideas.

like

For those quoting Israeli studies on Pfizer effectiveness, I find it interesting that you aren’t detailing Israel’s approach to combating the surge in infections due to delta. Israel started rolling out a third booster to those 60 and up. They found antibody levels to be low in these individuals, who started receiving these vaccines in December. Higher antibody levels fight the infection better, even against newer variants. It’s not full proof (what is?), but it’s way better than surging case loads, hospitalizations, and deaths.

Not quite sure when anti-vaxxers will get the point that building antibodies prior to exposure is the better approach to fighting off covid. Much to be learned, but curious to see if case loads and hospitalizations start dropping in Israel.

The spike proteins are damaging themselves lol. Surely is better to not have the viral load, but the spike proteins are separate in the host of issues it causes. They’re independently damaging. I think harmless is the wrong word, maybe harmless compared to covid itself (for most demographic). I actually had an adverse reaction related to it
