For 🐠 in Seattle/ Greater Seattle Area, where is the best place to live for a 30M who likes to get outdoors but appreciates what the city has the offer. Also needs to be close enough to downtown core to commute. Cost would also be a factor - looking at ~$3k fully loaded total housing cost with insurance, utilities, etc. Open to downtown but noting that: budget may restrict options; also large population of transient folks from my prior visits.

Amazon has fidelity and It alllws rollover old 401k into a rollover ira. Is it work keeping as is , or rollover into ira(Roth/traditional) at Meryl or move to fidelity.

I have 60k in Cash (High Yield Savings and Checkings accounts). And 60k in Investment Accounts (401k, IRA,Taxable, Etc). Have 2 investment properties. I’m 25, should I be more diversified? I feel like an idiot. For the past 3 years (26yo now) I have been electing the traditional 401k instead of Roth. I get 25% taken out pretax each paycheck. Given that I’m more likely to have a higher salary (currently 100k now) and therefore be in a higher tax bracket by the time I retire, shouldn’t I have elected Roth this entire time? 😩

Question: The company that you are working for offers cloud managed services and has been approached by a potential client. What are some areas (or red flags) you would consider before responding to their RFP? ( I started putting together a response but would love to get your insights) Answer: 1) Understanding of current annual spending vs spending if they adopted our cloud services 2) Clients expected growth rate 3) Regulatory requirements depending on industry (medical, fed etc)

We have an AMAZING nanny - we adore her and she is so great with our child. We are just using her for 6 months while we wait for our daughter to get into a nursery program. We didn’t talk about this up front - but, typically, what do you do in these situations for vacation/holidays? If she goes on vacation, do we still pay her for those days? If we go on vacation, do we still pay her for those days (supposing we give plenty of heads up)?
