As a job seeker, what would be the benefits of taking a 12 month contract with no "contract-to-hire" statement in the listing over a salary or contract-to-hire position? I'm currently questioning if I should look for other opportunities, but potentially giving up my 401k, health insurance, and other benefits is nerve-racking, especially as a head of a household of four. Would it be beneficial to start a LLC or something if I were to go this route? I've only held salary positions in tech.
Salt supervisor? Ha. Most of the Sr Mgrs and EDs I know in SALT are doing tax tech work and not “supervisor” work. And they are all in office as well.
Supervisor as in a strong tax senior, waiting to get CPA license to get promoted to manager.
