Anyone up to take me on under their wing? I just finished my Google Data Analytics certificate and as much as I want to jump in and start applying, I’d like to first get some hands on experience. How long does everyone suggest studying for SHRM-CP? Recently registered for the Dec - Feb testing window and haven’t started studying yet. I’m a pretty good studier / test taker but just want to gauge how much time should be put in pre-exam?

Hey there! I interviewed for experienced hire M, Consulting at Deloitte UK more than a month ago. Despite multiple email conversations with the hiring manager, they seem to have more interviews scheduled for the role. Is this bad news for me? Is the hiring process being this slow characteristic of summer or are my chances of getting hired just fading out? Got great feedback from both rounds of interview and the final 20min presentation.

Do you guys have a identity crisis working in consulting as you switch roles/work on different tasks depending on roles needed to fill? Is this common?

Do any of the top consulting firms hire into the Engagement Manager level after an M7 (if they had manager experience elsewhere)? I know MBB probably doesn’t but what about other tier 2 firms after that - and asking for US or Canada

Has anyone been laid off from a firm, and then hired into a different practice of the same firm? Asking for a friend whose practice was doing poorly.

I absolutely hate EY’s Fidelity 401k. Deloitte’s Vanguard answers the phone the moment you call. Meanwhile Fidelity I’ve been on hold for 20min+ and this is every time I call.
