My family is on my health plan and it’s open enrollment. Spouse is currently on leave and their federal health plan open enrollment is early next year. Is it possible to enroll us and our child on my health plan and then switch to spouse’s plan during their open enrollment? Also, typically are fed health plans that much better than private for families with one child?

Anyone in public mental health administration in a non-rvu outpatient child mental health setting? How do you calculate productivity rates, especially within a multidisciplinary setting including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers? I’m in my 3rd tri and feeling like I’m carrying the weight (pun intended) more than my partner. He’s active and involved but not proactive or ‘on it’. As in - he’s usually the one to cook but doesn’t plan ahead for dinners; if I ask for help on a big cleaning day, he’ll help but constantly leaves dishes, trash, clothes everywhere (even right next to bins and hampers!). Parents who have or have had a baby. How was the first year or two for you? Was it awesome, was it terrible, did it change your relationship with your partner? Did you regret it, did you want out? I've heard that having a baby can really change things between you and your partner and that a lot of marriages fall apart at that point. Just interested in stories and feedback.

Also curious if one partner kind of pressured the other into having a child/was driving force in wanting the baby.

At this moment, I am almost depressed. I am in a relationship with this guy for 2 years now. In the past 2 years, we have fought more than we have lived days with peace. We both have high ego problems because of which it’s really hard to resolve a conflict. Things have recently escalated to calling names/swearing and even physically abuse from both sides. We both want to end the relationship, have tried so many times, but we cannot.
