If they mentioned no gifting maybe that means cash gift
Typically when I see no gifts requests, they either don’t treasure possessions or have everything they need. If first, I’d go with the experience idea above or maybe you could donate in their name to a charity they support. If second, I would honor their request and go with no gift - maybe just write a really nice card.
Yea was going to say champagne with roasting glasses or wine club? Or some experience thing eg restaurant gift certificate etc. I try to stick with “disposable” items...
Tacky? Lol no way!! cash is the only wedding gift I wanted and I can confirm my married friends wanted the same. Life’s expensive.. student loans, mortgage, babies etc. Cash to me is the kindest gift you can give!:)
A bottle of champagne?
Well sometimes people have travel plans and don’t want to have to accommodate all those boxes. Sometimes they want to buy things per their tastes not everyone else’s tastes. Cash makes it all possible
I like to give wine or scotch with a couple of nice luggage tags around it for decoration. Add some ribbon and it looks nice and thoughtful but not overwhelming.
Oh I didn't think that they wanted cash.. but isn't it a bit tacky to gift cash? I like the champagne and experience ideas ! Thanks !
