Anyone else’s hotel loyalty screwed due to no travel from lockdowns? I was titanium on Marriott pre-Covid but had virtually no travel opportunity from casework start of year due to domestic case and then lockdown hit (when I was staffed interstate..) I realized recently that most if not all of the women I work with don't have kids or have expressed that they don't plan to, and I'm wondering if that's intentional.

We need some help with what is reasonable in a nanny contract. We currently have guaranteed 40 hrs/week, and anything over 40 is overtime. We have an approximate schedule but do not have a min shift of 8 hrs/day. Is it reasonable to 1) have some flexibility (within reason, say +/- 1 hr) day to day within the week? And 2) for weird weeks (e.g., we’re taking half day Friday) ask a nanny to work a little longer the other days (though still stay under 40)?

Hi everyone!! How do people go about finding a nanny or night nurse ? I’ve mostly heard people say that others referred different nanny’s to them but I’m moving to a new city (nyc) and not sure how best to find someone. Any thoughts? I’m initially looking for a night nurse.

We’re planning on doing round 2 of sleep training(after round 1failure at 3mos) and truly hoping to get it right this time! Can you all talk to me about what I should do, what are the major do’s and dont’s for a modified Ferber?
Also, we have two crutches that I’m not sure how to handle during this:
1) we’re still in the swaddle
2) LO has been rocked to sleep for naps and wakings
