Intone with her feelings . E.g she throws tantrums when she is hungry and will not say it. I am just frustrated and maybe lose my cool more than required ; so looking for recommendations not just for her but for me too to make a better parent. End of self pity 🙏

Awww op, I feel for you, that must be difficult, I hope it gets better/ I’m sure it will!

I have a brother who doesn’t care to teach their child (my niece) our southeast Asian culture—the customs him and I grew up with, what our parents raised us around, the food, the language, etc. He married a white person and she will act like she’s interested in our culture when around us—but not enough where she seeks to learn more. I find this very frustrating—and I know it’s not my life nor my child’s life, but has anyone else dealt with something similar?

Hello fishes !
About to be offered a position at Deloitte London as SC. Exp : ~9.
Visa sponsorship is needed. I foresee a possible negotiation on compensation from Deloitte.

Not sure of the estimate yet but I understand it would be 55-60k as per other fishes . Should I settle for a lower comp while employer pays one time sponsorship & migration costs or bear the migration costs self and chase a good salary . Which is better ?

Note : moving to UK with spouse and kid

Is it just me or does everyone struggle to make decisions that affect the next few years? (E.g., job, house, car etc.) - I have some criteria and I started to eliminate and then found two options with comparable pros and cons and now just paralyzed in analysis without being able to move forward. Ugh. Everything I could think of I have done - asked for advice, slept on it, taken a walk and looked at everything again but I just feel stuck.
