Credit karma is terrible. I use Personal Capital now. Not as good as mint, but it does the job (and it's free).

Feel free to DM if you need a referral (we both get $20).

I second Empower. Best free alternative. There are other ones if you're willing to pay.

I moved to Quicken Simplifi from Mint and have been happy with it so far. If you transfer all your stuff from Mint, you can get Simplifi free for a year. Otherwise it’s like $3 a month.

Copilot or Excel

If anyone is interested in investing in crypto, I’m running a kickback campaign on Vauld, where both, you and I can reap benefits. You could also FD your crypto investments at interest rates as high as 12.68% for a few tokens.

Comment here or DM me personally if interested to talk further. Note that this crash is a great opportunity to enter. 😊

Can anyone help me calculate the monthly salary, it's my first switch and the HR mentioned that you can opt out from employer contribution and just divide it by 12.

Also need some advice on how to save taxes. Coming under tax scheme for the first time. PwC

I have a 95 year old looking for help with $800,000 sitting in the bank. It will all be left to legacy (2 children). She’s too old for annuities and life insurance. Only option (for me s6&63) is mutual funds really. She is opening a trust as well rn. What would you recommend she do? Invest in MFs? Go risky as she’ll be giving it away anyways? Should she transfer the 800k to the trust?

If you think a house is way overpriced, can you offer 15% below asking? I’m embarrassed to even ask my real estate agent but this house has been listed at $440k for 90 days and their is a comp right next door that is much better for $380k (top end of my budget). I went to their open house and the selling agent said we were the only ones who showed up.

If I want to finance a private party purchase with a car loan from a credit union, how does it work from a tactical perspective. Say I’m looking to purchase a car in the $15-20k range - my credit is good and my local CU offers 2.5% for 48 months, so it’s smart to use financing since the cash is so cheap.

How much do I get approved for? Do they just wire me the cash and I bring them the title later or do they issue a cashiers check to the seller for the exact vehicle I’m buying?

Is this a good or bad idea? I live in Ny area, so obviously the city would probably be too expensive to buy any property. Or should I rent it out until I’m ready to live there (assuming it’s a bit further from the city). Very early stages of just thinking
