Any good real estate investing/rental property books out there?

I’m being offered to be converted to a FTE from a contractor currently. I have 2-3 years of experience in the domain I work and currently make $45/hour ($93,600). The offer is at $90,000 annually. Is it normal to take a dip when being converted? I know the benefits will make up for it eventually. However, there is a waiting period of 60-90 days for each respective benefit. So I take a pay cut and have to find my own health insurance for the first 2-3 months? Should I ask for a bonus or stipend

Social Security tax/HSA question - one of the unique benefits to HSA is that on top of being income tax free it is also payroll tax free. For specifically the 6.2% social security portion of FICA that only applies to the first $147k does that just mean you pay it on dollars earned from 147 to 154 instead for no net benefit?

Am I crazy for strongly considering doing this? My Mom decided to sell her house and move down here near me in a tier 2 city in terms of cost. Housing options for just herself with her medical conditions just don't see very great. So we found a new home builder in an amazing location with huge lot sizes that also offer "multi-generational" extensions so my Mom can have her own space and I can still have some degree of separation.

I joined mindtree in Jan 2022. Suddenly there is a 10k deduction in salary in the month of April. The salary slip say 10k deduction as INCOME TAX.
Mindtree says "You come under 20% slab according to the income tax calculations. When all the tax slabs are applied you will have to pay yearly tax around Rs. X amount. So that amount will be deducted in monthly basis."
Why sudden income tax deduction? Why was that not deducted in the month of Jan Feb March ?
How can i recover that 10k every month?

What should be salary range for 5 years of experience working in AI and ML domain?

Inherited a nightmare commercial property in nyc-- tons of bad tenants (section 8/rent stabilized/welfare) barely bringing in any money and paying a ton for lawyers, tax, water etc with more bills to come as we enter cold months. Collecting barely a third of the rent roll each month (imagine 19 tenants getting payment from about 6 each month). Anyone ever been in a similar situation or have advice on how to collect anything to stay afloat. These tenants are killing me literally.

Trying to lower housing costs / find housing that is affordable to me in the longterm by buying multi family FHA and using the rental income to cover the majority of the mortgage while living in one unit, but FHA appraisals always ruin the deal (rental income comes in too low). Not sure what to do anymore bc every multi family house in my city has this issue. Bought a condo and was informed by the existing tenant that the bedroom window in the winter collects way above normal amount of condensation to the point that the floor beneath the window is soaked. Tenant said they informed the prior owners numerous times to the issue but were ignored. No mention of it on any disclosure form. Is this grounds for a lawsuit? Pretty new the property owner stuff.
