What will be in hand salary for 12lpa fix in ibm?

Just switched to advisory from audit and kinda regret it. Seems like a bunch of unstructured random tasks that rarely have a hard deadline… which is sadly not my preferred way to work. Everyone says advisory is better so I’m gonna try to stick it out but ugh

Does anyone know what the best option for a not-for-profit entity to invest in treasuries is? Can you purchase direct like individuals can or do need to go through a broker of sorts?

My SO and I have around 95k total (excluding rainy day fund, retirement fund, etc) and want to buy a condo in Chicago in 6-12 months.
1. Knowing direction of economy, interest rates - that doesn’t seem like too crazy of a move right?
2. Should we plan to use around 90% if that money for down payment? Rest for furniture, broker fees, etc?

Reaching out to this savvy group.. any tips for leasing a car? Interested in a Volvo and the monthly price quoted at dealership was nearly 2x what was listed on their website. (Cont)

What should be the first preference- Megabackdoor Roth IRA or individual brokerage?

New to investing. Looking for any/ all tips... book recommendations, YouTube videos on how to get started

First gen grad working in Corp America so had to learn stuff like investing from scratch. I deposited funds in my IRA and invested those in some stocks. This was early in my learning journey. I've since learned about Roth IRAs and their tax benefits and would love to convert but I own some stocks that I bought relatively cheap and would hate to sell. Any way for me to convert to Roth while holding my stocks?

What is a good introduction book on investing?

If you don't need the money, do you leave the equity you've gained in your home? Or still try to take it out and invest elsewhere?

I currently own a Condo worth ~360k with ~100k in equity. I am looking to buy a home for $800-$1M (DC Metro market) in the next 3-5 years and am wondering if I should aim to keep the condo and rent it out or use the equity to afford the $160-200k down payment. I only have $7k in savings and am also saving for a ring and wedding.

Looking for a CPA to file taxes and provide some personal advice on dealing with taxes rather than just a clerical tax filing software like a TurboTax. Does $ 700 sound too high as annual fees for a personal CPA ?

People who have a million or so in your investment accounts - have you tried taking a loan against it to invest in S&P500? I could do this if I bought a home, but because of personal situation, can’t buy a home now. Still want to make the most of low interest rates now. Thanks in advance folks!

Does anyone know what’s happening to APHA after hours?

Understanding everyone’s situation varies, but what would you consider a “tolerable” amount of student loan debt?

New idea: investing platform that lets you make a note when you buy stocks/ index funds. And then tracks the growth of those stocks separately. (I.e. I have like 200 shares of something. But I bought 10 of those shares when I switched firms. And 10 of those shares with my 2022 bonus. I want to be able to note the occasion that I bought shares and then easily track the growth of those individual shares. As a scrapbook of my experiences. Rather than buying jewelry for sentimentality.

Anyone have a young, savvy personal accountant who they’d recommend?

Any recommendations on a taxable brokerage account that is low fee and hands off? I think that restricts me to robo advisors.

Does anyone use Merrill Edge? Opened an account because I'm a longtime BOA customer and the platinum honors rewards were attractive. Now the preferred deposit rates sunk from 2% to. 06%.. HYSA gone
