Any good webinars or articles to help refresh knowledge of the CCPA/CPRA before an interview. I’ve been practicing in the field for a few years but just want to feel more confident on substance. Obviously looking at IAPP resources, but anything specific?

Hi All! I need some help. I got recently laid off and I am going to start interviewing for roles soon. Should I tell recruiter that I’m not in the company anymore? If so, what should I say? (I got fired due to my performance, but my manager set me up for failure from the beginning, aka toxic leader).
Also, should I update my LinkedIn so that recruiters know I’m open for work?

I am a Java backend developer. Capgemini shortlisted my profile and conducted 1st round of interview. I cleared my 1st round of interview. He is okay and finally simply said i am looking for angular & react js guy. He simply said i will forward your resume to other team. HR sent me mail regarding documents. I sent it. After 3 days, HR contacted me and scheduled 2nd round. He simply saying that we are looking for react & angular js and said same thing. Finally HR saying you are not selected. 🙏🙏

Am I in the wrong here? I had an internal interview directly after a virtual social event so I showed up dressed in a suit. When my coworkers asked why i am leaving a gave an honest answer about how I love working with customers and the days without customer calls and working 10 hours straight are just exhausting. Someone from that call passed that on to my senior manager and I just had a really uncomfortable call with my SM about being negative and demoralizing the team.
