As a recent grad now living in Boston, I’d recommend home goods or something nice that she otherwise may not have thought to get for herself - small kitchen appliances, nice accent furniture or decorations (big fan of Litographs), treat yourself gifts. Boston has a great food / drink scene, so a gift card to a nice place can also work. Feel free to DM if you want more specific recs!
Gift card to Capo or Lincoln Tavern if in Southie
Gift card for Red Sox tickets
A hangover kit (people here drink...a lot)
A commuter work bag - check out Dagne Dover
A hot tip that people here are not as friendly as in the mid-west so any books or something to help cope with that (have friends/coworkers from mid-west who have cited this as difficult before someone jumps down my throat)
Some Harpoon/Sam Adams/Downeast Cider/Lamplighter/Trillium/nightshift (all brewed here)
But honestly money is good too because everything’s very expensive here!
Uber/lyft giftcard
