In a top Exec MBA program (M7, late 30s), want to signal that I’m open to job opportunities, but I’ve read on this app that a stating “Exec” MBA on LinkedIn signals less competence than FT MBA? Any truth to this?
26M making $155k base and about $185k TC at a large payments firm (Visa, MC, AmEx). I’m also 1 year away from promo which will probably get me to $210-220k TC. Do you think I still need an MBA? A lot of senior leaders in my team have 1 so I’m really not sure at this point. The opportunity costs are high, but I’m well aware of the long term benefits. I’ve also already taken the GMAT and gotten a 740. I’m an Asian male and find the hurdles that we go through for admissions a turn off as well.
How does your SO deal with your WLB? Did a PT MBA and she was patient with me studying evenings and weekends. Now have to do long hours for Uncle D and she getting frustrated and understandably so.

Help! A friend landed a FT job at her #2 dream company and a 6 month internship at her #1 dream company. Internship runs June to Jan. FT wants to start in June. Should she try to negotiate start date?
What makes for a great internship? What are some things that help make the internship a great experience even if the intern isn’t hired afterwards?
Do Deloitte and EY offer higher comp for Non-MBA masters degrees? Or is it like PwC where comp is same for all degrees that are non-target MBAs?
For the CPA application, how do you fill out the date section on the form if it has not been a full year since you’ve started full time with the firm but the internship counts for the experience?

I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance. I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members. Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?

Im weighing two options with former managers that I worked with. Option 1: $114k (paycut from current salary); manager role overseeing a team of 7; great manager and work life balance /// option 2: $150k + bonus ; director role working with market leadership team so lots of visibility and if I do well can grow into more things. Work life balance should not be more than 50-60 hours a week but it was with a former micromanaging boss. I also have a toddler with most of the responsibilities
Having 7 YOE to only make 65k with an MBA is the most stressful thing for me, especially at a Big 4. I’ve been trying to get into tech and the recruiters would reach out then are nowhere to be found. I’ve been wanting some assistance but feel like I’m talking to the wrong people.

So I forgot to calendar some new dates for a property sale at work. Now my boss had to work on Friday and today to fix my mistake. Not lots of work but just like I wanted her to give final approval before I sent out some required notices. I’m a 6th year and feel like such a failure. Like who forgets to calendar stuff?!?! Me. That’s who. I just found out I’m pregnant and I’ve been so ill with morning sickness and that is absolutely why I messed up at work. Any tips on how I get over this?
Other than LinkedIn and Indeed are there any other job posting websites? I am looking to make the jump from classroom teacher to project management/ curriculum design/ education nonprofit work…

Hi I’m pregnant and due in august. I’m scheduled for the vaccine in two days and reading about (1) the side effects with the second dose and (2) lack of testing for those who are pregnant has me nervous about potential effects to my baby. Any thoughts on whether to get/not get the vaccine? Already consulting my doctor on this but figured y’all might be good to ask, as well.
As someone who is a tech consultant but would love to get more into project management, are there any companies that great places to start on my project management career?
My husband and I have a huge combined family. They are also...well...loud. By loud I mean, laughing, debating, talking, all in good cheer. But sometimes arguments can erupt, and there's really no shortage of entertainment and sometimes drama. We're having a smaller gathering this year and wondering what's the best way to navigate all things COVID and health - we love to be close, hug, etc but I know everyone has different comfort levels and I want to be gracious and appease. What's your expert opinion? #QA
