Emory has a great one year program and it’s a big consulting shop. Highly recommended. Atlanta is a great city for business and travel as well.

INSEAD for a good experience and network Cornell if you just want to tick the MBA box

University of Phoenix if you just want to pick up the MBA

D1 - I disagree. I think the AMBAs were legit. (I was in the two year).

The alumns of the program that you’d like to network with might be slightly less inclined to hire you. I guess maybe that’s what he was getting at?

@OP I would look at one year MBAs in a bigger city with more freedom and access to network with consultants instead of waiting to have them come on campus

Kellogg 1 mba is top notch and the students definitely aren’t viewed negatively (its mostly mbbd sponsored students)

Not having an internship is a huge detriment if you are trying to switch industries. Also, AMBAs at Johnson are generally not looked at favorably by the 2 year student.

Thanks D1. No switch, will probably stay in consulting. Not being snarky - but how does it matter what the 2 yr students think? I have legitimate reasons for not taking 2yrs out of my career

Thanks all. I have an engineering background and already spent 6yrs on BSc and MEng so I'm looking for (1) network and (2) business foundation to reach C-level or Partner long term. Sounds like INSEAD might be the better choice, but I want to work in the US after and heard it's less common, hence the idea of Cornell

Consider EMBA?

No! don’t do EMBA!
