Is this is a risky time to move jobs? Currently interviewing for a large financial institution so the business will survive, but if layoffs are imminent, I wonder if they target new hires first.
I butchered a question in a phone interview today and still haven’t come up with the right answer 8 hours later.
Had an industry interview with the hiring manager on Thursday for a position I was interested in ... haven’t heard back from recruiter. Should I reach out? Or just assume I didn’t move forward?

My dream job is to be a public defender but they’re not hiring at the moment in my area. I’m not having an easy time finding a way “in”. In the mean time I’ve interviewed with a couple of family law firms in an area of law that I don’t think I’ll particularly love. I have about another month or two before my bar loan money dries up. If I receive an offer from family law, should I take it? Or is it realistic to get by doing document review and volunteer work until the PD will hopefully hire me?
Honestly feeling like crap, I’ve been on over 15 interviews and haven’t gotten any offers. I’m a tier 1 and was early promoted and I just can’t believe it’s this hard to leave, I feel like I’m just going to be an auditor forever :/ Anyone going through the same thing?
Interview: CD: So u won awards? You: I have. CD: We need someone who can make a difference. You: Of course. CD: Seriously. YOU: Totally. CD: What do you know about Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups?
I’m hoping to move to a specific city and I’ve been applying to positions for which I’ve been a good fit there, but with little luck. Do you think putting my actual out of state address is hurting me?

If I want to leave after 2/28, do I need to be interviewing now? I'm getting a bit nervous after hearing other people talk about PIPs and being let go after the firm has used you up...
Went for interview for the first time in many years. Interviewers didn't provide business cards, so it completely escaped my mind that I need to write thank you letters. How bad is that???

I got an interview for an in-house CD role. I’ve only freelanced as a CD before and have 8 years of experience. I really wanna nail this. Any tips?
I’m at a crossroads, thinking about either selling my condo and using the equity + some cash for a down payment on a house. Or using the cash to invest in a rental property in a lower cost of living area with the sole intent to build equity & sell when I retire. Leaning on rental property but seeking advice... cont’d
How are consulting interviews for experience hires (from competing firms)? Are the case interviews similar to the ones you’d get out of undergrad or are they different?

I'm so over the making fun of PwC for the oscars. They're a top PA firm and we're talking about theoscars. The only thing less important than the oscars is the political opinions of those who attended
Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. That will never happen!!!
