It’s all about supply and demand. When you say is it right do you mean is it fair? Of course it’s not fair but such is life.

like

That was my perspective as well

Here's wondering why you're asking? I don't but I know of some people who do.

Out of curiosity… do you think it’s right for cath lab nurses to get call pay incentives but not Cath lab rad techs even though that are both part of the call team?

As a cath lab and ir tech worked both in FL and GA you should still be getting paid to take call

I started at a new agency this week and feel like I was lied to. I have health issues so work life balance is very important to me. My last agency had its quirks but I never worked weekends and it was very typical 9-6. I am working 12 hour days right now and they are talking about having us work this weekend. I’m kind of at a loss. I was very honest about doing good work but WLB being a top priority to me. Is it awful that I’m already looking for a new job?

Deloitte just announced they are doubling 401k contributions to 50% match on up to 6% of your salary, up from 25% match. An unexpected 1.5% raise is a welcome surprise today.

Recently made the jump from mostly insurance defense work where my average billable rate was around $225/hr. Now the average billable rate is probably about $450/hr. Would I be able to get away with my insurance defense billing practices. I was averaging about 2800/yr before. Would that be cool in big law?

Have any tips?

Anyone work at Canadian Tire?

I have an interview with them for an associate manager role but they're saying starting salary is 75K which is fairly low for a role that requires 5+ years of experience and reports directly to the AVP, any idea what I could potentially negotiate to? Also what's the hybrid work policy at CTC and any idea on potential changes to it?

Hi Fishes,

Does Barclays provide any compensation if I am able to negotiate my notice period. Also is there any chance for salary increase for the same.

Is anybody up for a more focused whatsapp group and a weekly 15 minute catchup on zoom on the weekends?

The purpose for this will be that it'll get us to open our laptops and hopefully sit and study later. Also, it might be good to know what others are working on, give progress updates, and solve and discuss problems together.

This might also keep us motivated and incentivise us to keep working hard!

Curious on everyone’s thoughts. Started with a new company back in March of this year, and after having a handful of managers at my old company that were solid with personal development of their employees, my current manager at the new company could use work in that area…it’s non-existent. Due to reorgs, I’ll have a new manager soon and the initial feel is that this person focuses on personal development 👍🏻I’d like to somehow give my current manager feedback but not sure how or if I should 🤔

I feel that former employer might have slandered my reputation. Almost a year ago, I had accepted a physical therapist position with the VA and all was going well until I get a call from their HR department saying that they had to rescind the offer due to something that came up in my background. Never been arrested or have any legal complaints filed against me. VA said I’d have to file a FOIA request. Which meant all the info was blacked out when I got the info I requested. What do I do?????
