What is a "bit much" exactly?
Salons with private rooms or other accommodations for women-only styling. Hijabis get their hair done too lol
A1- yes I have and yes I saw that, but I personally prefer personal recommendations especially for places that are going to touch my hair It’s like going to a barber. You go to a wrong one, and you’re screwed. End up hairless or beardless or something
What I’m still interested in, however, is what you think is too much?
@K1....And I am assuming that window glass is not transparent in your world?
K1- y’all are so misinformed. 😅 maybe you don’t go to or work in a salon, but a lot of guys do and most salons are open space or have glass storefront meaning everyone can see what’s happening inside so you would need a hijabi-friendly space closed off from the rest of the place. Same thing with mani/pedi spots too. The more you know :)
Didn't know there was such thing as hijabi friendly salon.
This is a bit much isn't it.
A1 - ?
Hear of google OP? This was literally the first link.
http://www.muslimlinkpaper.com/community-news/4251-untangling-the-salon-scape-for-hijabi-hair-dos
OP, what Acc1 probably meant was that why is there a need for Hijabi friendly salon? 99.99999999999% of workers in a salon are female and men don't really go to salon they go to barbershops, so why is there a need for a thing as ridiculous as a "Hijabi friendly" salon.
Hope this answers your question for Acc1. don't get your Hijab in a bunch.
Acc1, I got your back homes. ✌️
LMAO I'm assuming you live in a world without Windows anywhere or in a world where you've never taken your Hijab off.
I honestly don't mean any disrespect, please excuse my demeanor in my previous post.
I appreciate you asking this and being so committed to the Islamic Hijabi rules and doing your due diligence but sometimes things are not in your control and you do your best. Allah is the most forgiving and will surely understand the circumstances.
