Joining Industry has been pretty interesting. I’d love to hear about the little nuances you’ve noticed after making the switch.

I’ll go first:
- The concept of a “boss” is very real. This person is largely responsible for your career, knows your salary, and has influence in things like internal transfers
- The idea of working FOR your boss is also new
- No time sheets or utilization
- Decks and presentation skills are way less polished

Periods are the worst. It's really hard to have severe symptoms & have your doctors (& to some extent, employers) tell you to suck it up. There needs to be unlimited sick days or atleast a WFH option.
