My ultimate goal is to leave Tax but I’m hesitant to leave B4 before senior promo (this October). Any advice? Is it worth staying til senior if I want to leave tax altogether anyway?

It might be possible that the institution might not in some of the companies' list, given the alumni network is very very low (less than 1000 alumni since inception). But still it has a fairly decent CAT cutoff of 98+ and good for finance

I am 4 years in. Worked at a midsize law firm and got some great experience and just started at a big law firm. I think I need to stay at least one year so I have 8 months left. I’m really trying to devise a plan to start my own firm. I think the midsize firm I worked for gave me real practical experience. Is it too early to go solo? What recs do you have? Also, what if I fail?

How do you come up with your labs to make sure they are aligned with the unit.? I feel like I am doing well on EOC scores but I feel like my class is a drag because we just drill concepts and the labs are not making the connections I’d like between the lesson and the activity. It becomes them just following my instruction and not much scientific processing or troubleshooting to come up with the conclusion. I want to make scientist not just students that pass the EOC.
