Doubt they will care. I mean, people finish undergrad at different speeds for any number of reasons. Honors should more than offset any perception risk. If you're really worried about it, you can always use an additional essay to explain why (might even fit well into your broader story, taking the extra time to pursue a passion or something), but honestly don't sweat it.

I did it for a triple major and got into M7. It’s fine, no one notices - I still graduated in December of the same year so it doesn’t make a difference on my resume
No negative perception at all. I would not even worry about this.
Your deductive reasoning skills might need some help if the answer is not clear to you...
Double Major + Summa Cum Laude + 0.5 yr = ???
You also don’t need to list when you started (or finished) undergrad. No one will notice in a resume screen, and if asked in an interview they would only ask when you finished
Thanks everyone! Helpful to hear the outside perspectives and confirm what I was thinking. And thank you for the constructive feedback, Manager 2! 🤦🏻♂️
Any time! 😁
Did you have a social life and do other things. If so then amazing. If you studies 24/7 then ehhh
Assuming you were supposed to graduate in May, an extra semester would just have you graduate in December. So most people don’t even look into it because you did graduate in the year you were “supposed to”
I did the same, got into a couple of M7s, and no one cares.
