I'm on my notice period and got an offer from a company which is the role I'm looking for. However, they've given only 1 day to respond to the offer. This company is 2nd on my priority list and I got this from a personal connect.

Next week I have an interview with my 1st priority company (but that is interview 1st round).

Is it okay to first accept an offer and then say no & not join?

I have cleared both rounds in HSBC and waiting for HR round since 2 weeks
Last update which I get from them that they are waiting to get approvals from business end then HR will reach to me for discussion

Is it normal to wait they take this much time normally or either I need to look for other opportunity?

Would it be a bad move for a director at Big4 with 15 years experience to go for a program manager role in Meta or Google? Not sure about the level yet but its expected to be IC level. So, I mail her about this she told me start working on pre-joining formalities we will share new DOJ shortly. But it's been a two day's I haven't got any mail. Hi, i was interviewed at cognizant and after HR asked me to fill CIS form to get into HR round. It's been a month, i didn't get any call from HR. I tried sending emails to HR multiple times but no use. Do i still get the call from HR ?
