300k is "not that high"?? Holy privilege.

Also factor in that they're not allowed to invest their entire career

More money than il ever need. More money? Maybe you might think you need a bigger house, nicer car, maybe new wife and kids, chill.. il be happy at retirement having like 50k passive income with paid off house

Not really a lot of money when you consider how much they pay in mortgage and in taxes.

Think at Deloitte it's 25 % of your highest 5 years salary. So if you averaged 1M a year, you get 250K for life assuming you vested

like

At EY is 40% of your highest 3 year earnings with a cap of somewhere around 350 or 400. Most partners easily make this as avg partner salary at the firm is 800-850

units ?

They are owners of the firm. So it depends on how much they own.

If $300-$400k is true, that is insane. @OP if your pension is vested, you can check out your pension info in Self Service Connection. If I quit right now, I would get like $60/month when I retire. Haha

I believe it's around $300k -$400k per year for life.

Holy crap that's a lot of money

It depends how many units they had when they retired, etc.

They get ROI payments and capital payouts.

They're not allowed to invest their entire career? This is definitely false lol

They get the sweat and tears of the remaining staff. Delivered in containers to their specific needs with an audit report attached to the delivery, signed in blood. Pyramid scheme at the greatest distorted and socially acceptable way

Hi fellow 🐠, Any tax specialists here willing to give me some advice please? I just wanted to ask if I should file my IT Returns as a Resident or a Non resident (of the US) if I was employed until May by my US employer, with severance paid out until October but hadn’t set foot in the US all of last year (as I had been out of the country on medical leave since Nov ‘19) when the pandemic hit and prevented travel. Thanks in advance!
