Any ideas on first name for a girl with the last name Pederson (like Peterson)? Can’t be too long since our last name is so long and would like her first name to be what she goes by (aka no nicknames) but I know that’s hard to do these days. Any thoughts / ideas would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Also there is this app where you and your partner can download it and “swipe” on names (like bumble) and it will create a list of ones you both swiped right on. Sort of fun!

We named my daughter Meryl. No real nicknames, unique, but not unheard of, and so far we haven’t been in a situation where there are mire than one Meryl in the room/building. I like it even more as time goes on too. But I might be a little biased.

Recently I got invited to an interview with a decent growing company. I work in Executive Search and I am thinking of switching to in-house recruiting. During the conversation the recruiter made some weird assumptions about my current job. The interview took longer than expected and I feel like I have not delivered well. Was I wrong to expect in-house recruiter to understand the differences and similarities between in-house-recruiting, professional search and retained executive search?

Rant: I finally got a baby registry started and sent the link to family... and immediately was told all the things I need on there that I don't have (including things I'm opting to just NOT GET, like an electric pump - why is my nursing preference up for debate????). Going back to work Jan 4 and my 3 month old won’t take a bottle. We’ve tried since she was 1.5 months and she just holds the bottle nipple in her mouth but she doesn’t suck.

For now, I’m ok with breastfeeding while working, but just in case with meetings and whatnot, it’d just be awesome if my husband could feed her.

Any advice? Is it possible to get baby on a feeding schedule that I could just put on my Google calendar as “pumping” time?
