Interesting. I'm also in NC, and thinking of hiring a salary plus payout person to help me manage my book. Unfortunately, I'm about an hour and a half from Charlotte. I wouldn't mind seeing a resume though.

like

A bank or maybe licensed assistant. brokerages need licensed customer service people too. Might be difficult if you don't have a Head quarters in your area if you're not willing to relocate

like

If safe to post, where you located?

like

North Carolina. Looking to relocate to charlotte to be with the soon to be wife's family. Currently running my own independent practice but need something with a stable enough income stream to get her through nurse practitioner school. I jumped from ed Jones about a year ago and the transition has been good, but the recurring revenue is tough to get built up quickly

like

Roughly where in NC? I am currently about 100 miles east of Raleigh, so anything in the direction of charlotte is on the radar. How do I get you my resume?

Currently unemployed, and looking at a job offer of around 62k base, small firm. Not my preferred choice but this is the first offer in three months. They also took a month to get me the offer with corona and internal restructuring. Two questions:
1) The contract doesn’t mention a notice period in the probation period. What’s a good way to ask? 2) If I manage to secure another offer between contract signing and start date, would this involve any financial liabilities?
