How hard is everyone pushing their corporate clients to authorize nonresident assignees whose only 2020 US compensation was the value of their 2019 tax preparation?
My clients are pushing back on it this year, and I can't say I blame them. If I were in their shoes, I'd rather take the risk of not filing than the expense of filing again. From my own point of view, I don't really want to spend my time on such returns, either, even if the revenue and easy return are nice.
Can someone tell me why/when we would test debt repayment? We’ve confirmed beginning and ending balances, why would we test payments and proceeds?

McKinsey & Company I’m in between having accepted my offer and starting. I’ve read advice recommending getting your WFH set up ready before starting, and want to take that. I assume the answer is “no”, but could I spend my $150 one-time WFH allowance now and submit expense receipts after starting? Any chance they’d pay back spending prior to start date that was within a certain window (my last company allowed this for moving-related expenses, as an example) of the start? McKinsey & Company

Good morning. I’m a recent graduate of rutgers university. My major is political science and my minor is creative writing. I have couple of internships at assembly man and a senator’s offices. I also worked about a year as a fundraiser. Besides that I published couple of my creative writing pieces in NYU and the first national newspaper in Egypt as I’m bilingual. I’m currently looking for a remote job. Any position related to politics, administration, writing, or fundraising. Thanks a lot.

I am about to attempt self paced Math for the first time in 5th grade. I am raw with this one. I need to teach more discovery learning and exploration, rather than rote standard algorithm practice. Has anyone tried a self paced math class in grades 4-6? Tips? Tricks? Thoughts? Encouragement?

So, this is a very personal kind of question, but I hope people relate and can provide an answer. I am CLOSE friends with a peer on my team and they an awful engineer and I'm always showing them up, simply by doing the right work. It's getting to a point where I'm getting bogged down by them, and I don't know if our manager will notice or if I need to do something to bring it up. What's the ideal solution for this? Maybe a stealth approach I haven't thought of? I don't want them to be fired...
After all your feedback, and many a late night - I've completely rebuilt my website.

So I've heard from a bunch of people that working as a Product Designer at a FAANG company isn't as glamourous as people make it out to be.
Is there any truth to this? Or is it just bitter people who didn't get hired?
I've heard the work life balance is tough, and that people usually leave after less than 1.5 years because the churn is crazy.
Is it worth going for FAANG companies or nah?

I’m looking to buy my second home which would be my primary residence. Depending on the price of the home, I may be able to keep my first home as an investment property. Even though I’m preapproved, my agent told me she will show me homes only if she has time after her other clients since I may have to sell my home to purchase my next one. Wondering if anyone else has experienced similar?

Hi all, looking to buy a fourplex in Austin TX. Off market they will accept $625k “as is”. My only financing option is fha it seems since I don’t have 15% down. Current rents are $4300. It’s in south Austin part of 78704 but a really bad street. My thoughts are it’ll gentrify and I’ll condo regime it. Any major concerns, am I buying at the peak? Are there other financing options I should entertain? First house so a bit nervous. Thank you!

I have 100k to my name. I’m thinking of investing in by going in with 3 other family members and buying commercial units. I was taught to rent where you live and own your investments so your not tied to it and restricted. To give context I’m 22 years old, and I see other family members having a headache selling their home. My question is do you guys recommend owning where you live vs renting ?
