I got a call from the recruiter today that I will get an offer. I’m also having another interview going on in the same company with the different recruiter, different position. Should I tell both of the recruiters about my situations?

Hi all, Currently holding an offer of 14 lpa from Neudesic and have my 2nd round of interview from Bitwise tomorrow. Before the first round at Bitwise HR mentioned that they can give 16 lpa fixed. 1. I-94 end date: they put 3 days later than the date on the document (I-94 is attached to the packet)
2. J-1: I was on J-1 4 years ago before coming as F-1 but they said N/A on the question if I ever had J-1. (Section 212(e) does not apply so technically no legal issue. They still attached my previous DS-2019 in the packet)

Currently a second-year associate at a regional firm. I have become really unhappy with the life-style at a firm and the constant stress of meeting my billable requirements. It was always my goal to go in-house, but I know I likely lack the requisite experience to make a move somewhere that can offer meaningful advancement. Any advice? I know it will likely be that I need to “stick it out” for a few more years, but I am just extremely dissatisfied with the prospect of being at a firm for years.

Any insight on working as m&a counsel in-house? Hours as bad or not much better than firm? Is comp typically decent? For those in m&a legal counsel roles, have you found yourself doing a lot of the work in house or do you utilize quite a bit of outside counsel help? A few positions have opened up including at FAANG. Would love to hear insight in particular on the Amazon and Apple m&a legal teams.

I went in-house 3 years ago. At the time, I was interviewing with 2 companies. One company was a much better cultural fit for me and I was 1 of 2 finalists. But they chose the other applicant. I got the other job and have been there ever since. The work is ok,but I still struggle with company culture daily. 3 years later, the original job that I wanted has been reposted. Reach out to the GC directly to show interest? Is it worth moving from a comfy job just bc I think the culture will be better?

Any tips from folks who negotiated comp for a senior role at a late stage, non-FAANG, Bay Area tech company? Don’t know how far I can push on equity or a signing bonus. What would be a typical salary for a junior in house counsel role (3 yoe) at a publicly traded company in a secondary market (think Austin, Tampa, Charlotte)? I’m having a really hard time finding what a reasonable range would be. Most positions I’m applying to require desired salary in the application, and the truth is I’d accept anything north of 125k but don’t want to undersell myself and take a bigger cut than necessary coming from biglaw.

I’m looking to go in house as a second year corporate biglaw associate. Really want something close to 40-50 hours a week and weekends off. Remote would be ideal. I’d like $110-130k if possible. Do you know of anything? Is this unrealistic? Thanks all.
