I am a junior biglaw lit associate who is extremely extroverted. Unfortunately, I’m realizing that so far litigation hasn’t been as great for extroverts as advertised. Why do recruiters insist on introductory meetings even when you say you aren’t looking? Do they think they can trick you into taking a position somewhere else? Or do they really think that intro meeting will mean that you come back to them in a couple of years to use them?

I am in a counsel role at an AmLaw 100 firm. Was contacted by a recruiter about a counsel position at a V50, but they want my law school transcript. I graduated from law school 17 years ago. Is this just about confirming I actually have a degree or are they actually going to look at my grades?
