Folks who have had unexpected medical debt: any advice on how to avoid it? It seems like one of those areas where you can get screwed badly if you’re not super careful. Currently interviewing at JPMorgan in their CIB division for a associate operations role. Have met with 5 people for two different teams and another person for another team, all of which I believe are 3 total open positions for 3 different teams. Any insight on the interview process or how long it takes or any sort of idea to give me on what I could look for that might help me believe I might get an offer? Checked my online application again recently and still says “In Consideration”
My sister and I are 29 and 31, respectively. I’m struggling with something that has irked me our entire lives. My parents pay for things like her dog’s medical bills, vacations and moving expenses. They always want to help. The problem is they’ve never offered to pay for those things for me, and I’ve never asked because I’m a fully grown adult and don’t want them to spend their retirement on us. She has savings and isn’t struggling financially. Why does this bother me so much?
Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones? https://blog.shrm.org/blog/9-interesting-interview-questions-that-actually-reveal-a-lot-about-candidat
Whats the typical range of package at EY GDS at SM level ? Asking for a cousin who has HR interview scheduled next week.
shooting a series of videos for a spirits client, with creative centered around “talking head interviews” and mixologists creating a few cocktails. Will be internal sales team-facing as opposed to consumer/brand creative. wondering if anyone has recommendations for a solid production partner in the NYC/Brooklyn area for the shoot (and potentially edit) that could keep a 2-day shoot somewhere in the $40k range? I know, that number pains me as well...
Has it ever occurred that EY HR system count sick days as our PTOs. My recent sick days at all counted as vacations in EY vacation calendar and my sick day time stays as same.

Anybody hiring for data analytics positions? I just need a first round interview. I am a decent candidate, my last 5 interviews were EY, McK, EY, McK and GS (last round, 1st round, last round, 2nd round, 1st round). I have 10 months of experience and graduated with majors in cs and bus. I interned once at a big 4 acc firm and once as a software engineer. One caveat: I am an F1 student on OPT.

Looking to switch out of consulting. Does anyone have advice on how to concisely write out all the work you’ve done in consulting if it’s been pretty broad and general? I’ve been an analyst at Accenture for 2 years and have done vastly different things at each client. I appreciate any advice!
Anyone been through HireRight and can answer a quick question. Do they verify internships? I have 4 YOE and have an intern title from years ago that may come up as off (i.e. Risk Management Intern vs. Finance Intern) Will this be a huge flag? Should I proactively tell HR?
Working as an audit staff in big 4 shared service centre. It's been 2 years. I really don't like what I do there, also it seems I won't like what I'll be doing there even after becoming senior. Thinking of leaving and joining industry once ACCA qualified. (One more paper left). But people around me discourage that growth potential and earnings in industry are way less compared to public accounting. I know that too but I still want to leave. I'd like to stick to core accounting. Thoughts pls
