My Obgyn is offering weekly classes that range from “childbirth” to “infant cpr” and mom/dad “meet and greets”. Outside of the cpr one which seems important, did anyone attend classes and find them useful? Or did not attend classes and wish they had? The recommended curriculum is about 20-30 hours in total over 2-3 months which is a time commitment. Thank you!

Currently working at a creative shop but have always been intrigued by putting my experience to work in the comms/media world. Has anyone made that jump? Do any PR agencies in particular have a strong strategy unit or put a greater emphasis on it?

I’m new in a dual media relations/digital role. I found myself surprised to see that the digital team actually has account editing video/designing graphics. Is this normal? Before I was at a larger agency where creative would be called in to do this work. We have a creative team at this new agency so I’m not sure why they aren’t called to support. It seems a bit unprofessional as these executives are clearly not ‘pros’ in this area of designing/editing.
