Considering a new role (currently at VMware but the acquisition has me 😬). What type of culture and reputation does Redis, SoftwareOne or MuleSoft have? I have had interviews with all three recently.

What to tell recruiters if they ask what compensation I’m looking for?

So, I am a high performer and had to cover for two very senior roles for many months due to quick high turnover. We already had our talks. I found it funny when I was told, “oh and by the way… as you can see we increased your bonus to thank you for covering for so and so.” $500 increase………. Am I silly to think this “thank you” increase is a joke? No salary increase and only $500 thank you for covering for two additional jobs. Am I unreasonable to think the work I covered for wasn’t appreciated?

I got a call from KPMG HR for the role of Associate consultant in research team, When she asked me about the expected ctc, I think I quoted less than the market standards but since I am underpaid currently so the amount I quoted was 40-45% hike on my fixed. I have experience of 2.9years
Can anybody please suggest if I clear their interviews will they consider increasing CTC from whatever I quoted becase upon searching for ACon roles they pay much higher than what I quoted.

1. Paytm: 20(fixed) + 1 retention bonus
2. Novartis : 17.5 (fixed) + 1.65 (variable) + 1.3 joining bonus.

I didn't think I would like the Lower Decks, but I do. Since it's a comedy, I had low expectations. No one asked for a comedy, but I'm glad they made it.

Closing on my first property, and my lawyer is completely useless, to the point where he delayed scheduling the closing (despite there being no issues on my end or the sellers, and despite me and the lender constantly asking him to do it) until the bank stepped in and threatened to undo the loan requiring me to reapply and lose the interest rate I had locked in. Is this common? I’m a lawyer myself, and would never have been so flippant about this sort of thing.

I don't know WTF happened. I was just in the shortest interview ever (3 minutes -- if that) This was for a startup agency I would have to move across the country for. I got to the 2nd round. It seems like the CEO is moving too fast and is not deliberate in making decisions.
