Have an interview coming up with the chief revenue office. The role I'm interviewing for is the head of NA HR supporting him. It's a maturing startup in hyper grow stage with aggressive revenue goals. Appreciate any pointers of things I should bring up and discuss that would give him the confidence that I'd be an excellent HR partner. What has come up to my mind is asking about his major challenges and his revenue attainment strategies, and what my views are of supporting him from people's side

Friends of fishbowl. Need advice on two very different offers I have: - ZS Consultant: 170k base, 20k signing. Will be joining Process Excellence and Transformation under the Business Operations Group - Deloitte Manager: 155k. Will be joining Strategy & Analytics and will focus on Financial Services Money aside, which is better for career growth, culture, experiences? Note that I already have 4 years of consulting experience at another big 4 so brand recognition is not important to me
I’m currently interview and I’m nervous about going to a new job that is hybrid or remote at the moment. A big reason I was successful in my current position was by earning people respect through having a good attitude, doing whatever work was asked of me, and showing that I genuinely care/want to learn. I feel like without being in person it will be much harder to develop these personal relationships with coworkers and earn their trust. Am I overthinking this?

Thoughts on back to the office in September? Am I the only one who feel like we need to just stay out until the worst is behind us with COVID? Even with the vaccine, the Delta variant is starting to worry me with the current RTO plan.
Several years ago a gay male acquaintance said he didn't date Black guys. It made me bristle but I was not surprised. Now he's married to one. I feel in a way vindicated every time I see his loving social media posts with his Black husband of like 5 years or so now. How did he get over his apparent aversion to Black men enough to go and marry one? Where would he be if he hadn't had a change of heart? I wish there were a tactful way to remind him he said that and watch as he eats his words...
Any insight on interview process for Human Capital? I have my first round scheduled with a DC manager. TIA

Might be a paranoid mom question - my 16 month old is starting daycare next week. So far, I’ve had virtual interviews/meet and greet sessions with the daycare staff. Today we went in for our in-person orientation and I noticed that my child is the only non-white kid in his class of 8. Not entirely shocking, but in my head (and having seen pictures in their catalog) I was hoping there would be a little more diversity. Should I be worried about my kid feeling left out because he looks different?
If you transfer to another office location in a lcol will they always adjust your salary or is it case by case basis?
My job is cushy and it pays good for Minneapolis. I have this need for something more and new, but none of my interviews, no matter how great I perform, seem to stick. Should I just take a break and coast for a bit?
