Worked pretty extensively with Google consultants in my last role and talked with them quite a bit when I was exploring similar roles there so I'll give you some second hand info.
Wlb balance is great. I think most of their consultants were working from the office 2 days a week and rest at client sites on average (pre covid). I almost never saw them work even 8 hrs a day. Got a pretty nice lunch stipend every day too when they were out of office.
Growth opp wise, the org is rapidly growing and I see a lot of my colleagues moving up quickly there. The ones moving the fastest are folks that already have decent experience outside google though (it'll be your biggest advantage because the PSO needs skills that you're not really going to get as someone who starts with Google early/beginning of their career).
Day to day work, depends on if you're more implementation or sales focused but basically standard consultant work for each. Implementation side though it's more professional advice and less we'll do this for you. You may step in where client talent doesn't have the skills and aren't able to solve with your guidance, but generally the goal is to train the client to setup and manage their systems themselves.
I used Google PSO on a project. I think they are higher caliber than AWS ProServ.
I think the workload, WLB depends on the project(s) you are on. They seem to get a lot more holidays than we got.
