Any other associate consultants left the consulting industry and took a pay cut?... I'm happy about leaving consulting as I took a role at a start-up in the industry that I love, but, I will miss that pay haha. I'm getting $70K in Boston, and have two dogs, so a little worried about change of lifestyle lol.
Feeling stuck in my role, but unsure of my next move. Move agencies? Stick to social/PR? Acct mgmt? Get an MBA to become an eventual brand mgr? I’m so overwhelmed and feel like I have to specialize.
What is the the exit comp range for a Senior Consultant / Manager (post MBA)? More curious about the high end. My guess is ~150 - 300k total comp.

I interviewed for a job in a diff location and during interviews they asked me multiple times how I felt abt relocating. I said it was fine, but the more I think about it the less I’m open to relocating. I now have an offer from them, is there anyway to negotiate no relocation? They are remote until mid year 2021. I’m Happy to fly in on a monthly basis but I don’t want to move there.
I’m in my mid-40s with a 7 year old and baby. Is it too late for me to back into public accounting? I was laid off last year and found a great job in a large bank. I miss the flexibility, challenge and rigor of PA. I would love your opinions. Has the ship sailed for me in PA? If I go back I would be an experienced senior; maybe, a year or so from manager.
Anyone else starting to feel nervous about the extra $600/week unemployment going away? Also, is it just me or does it seem stupidly misguided that the Senate/WH prefer to send another stimulus check instead of extending unemployment benefits? Stimulus checks go to a much smaller subset of the population and aren't necessarily going to help those impacted by COVID layoffs. Not to mention the argument that it disincentivizes people going back to work is dumb when there are no jobs to return to.

Planning to adopt a cat and a dog soon, since I am looking at a fully remote position starting a month from now. What are somethings that I should be mindful of when I go to the rescue center to find a perfect cat? How much should I budget monthly? How do you travel internationally with your pets? I live in decently sized apartment in Houston, TX.
Signs that the economy has fully recovered and is going full steam. About a year ago people would have given their first child for a role of toilet paper, today, they just throw it on the streets.
How do you all calm yourself down and mentally prepare for the week? Bad case of Sunday scaries knowing my colleague is going on vacation this week and I’m gonna have to balance a lot of work
Any advice on which states 529 to choose? I live in Georgia but do most of my investments in vanguard, whose 529 is via Nevada. Seems like GA may have some addl tax benefits?
I planned to travel internationally in December. It’s for a family matter that is personal. I am worried a bit about Corona risk. Now I see a potential VACCINE is available, maybe. Do you think I will be able to get it before I leave? How would I do it? Pfizer said they’d have 50M doses made in 2020.
MBA class of 2017 what’s your TC?

I have a question for HR/People Department leaders: For companies that are 1,000+ employees, what is your ideal HR/People Department structure? How many direct reports, and sub departments/teams does the CPO have, and what are roles are you hiring for (Traditional HR roles or more fluid/hybrid People Ops roles)?
Okay, ZS fish. I am hoping you can help with: 1) base salary for new grad MBA hire 2) average time to promotion from associate to AC, AC to Consultant, Consultant to Sr Consultant (if that’s the next step) 3) base salary for Consultant and Sr Consultant earned via promotion from AC
Left Public in January after getting my CPA license. At an industry gig now doing tax....is there any point to doing CPE and keeping my license active if I'm not using it? I'd reactivate it when applying for new jobs but don't plan on job hopping for another 3 yrs or so.

Lady SAs and Managers, PwC FS comp thread. Gents feel free to comment. I want to check if ladies are achieving parity.
First time negotiating salary with multiple offers. I would appreciate if you can provide any advice on negotiation tactics. Do you disclose your other offers? Can they rescind their offer if I ask for higher compensation? I am trying not to come off as a newbie that they can lowball me
For data science roles, senior (L6) at AWS or post MBA level (specialist track, so same pay as generalists) at MBB? Comp is 20% higher at AWS just to start. But maybe looks like MBB has better upside - solid path to promotion to manager level with solid comp increase. But worse WLB and it's unclear to me whether MBB data scientist on the resume is up to par with big tech data scientist on the resume. Coming from big 4 so I am considering brand so I can do better with future resume screens.
