Anyone can speak to the culture of Amazon’s accounting? They’ve been hiring like crazy and I started to wonder if this is a good exit option. I know it’s a big team, but any insights are highly appreciated!

Can someone please enlighten me on why someone higher up, ie: group CD, CEO, etc. would want to interview with someone like me, a mid-level copywriter? Just wondering what they're looking for, especially if I've already interviewed with the CD. Are they just trying to see if my personality would match the environment and culture?
The hustle culture is killing me. Working until midnight everyday with no salary raise this year. Is it time to move? Just heard Deloitte people are getting raise this year.
I am still learning and my sr manager is really making me feel stupid. And maybe its just my firms culture but I am on a new engagement and have no senior above me to guide me, the work stream is just me and my senior manager. She had asked me a question about the engagement as to why we are doing something and she got mad because this was the second time she was telling me. I know she is really upset with me but this is all new and I have no one to go to for regular questions. I feel so dumb
Offer advise: CorpDev at a high growth non F500 energy company (infamous for bad culture/ WLB/progression) vs Deloitte S&O (Energy) If I were to stay at one of these jobs for next 2 years before applying at HSW. I'm thinking about applying for jobs in Australia and moving there after all of these Covid-19 related lockfiwhs have lifted. I've been there twice before and love it. What do I need know about work visas, Australian culture, and work culture in Australia before getting started? (US Citizen)
Recently (within the last month) got a sizable pay bump and endorsement by my firm that they want me to stay and be a part of their long term plan. Ever since around that time, I haven’t been in a great place mentally. Avoiding work, eating like crap, not caring about working out, or seeing friends / family. It feel like more than work because it’s spreading to more areas of my life. I’m not sure what it is but it feels a lot like depression. Anyone else going / gone through something similar?
Anyone able to help answer a couple LEK questions? Interested in applying with 2.5YOE in healthcare consulting.

This is the best position candidates can be in, in terms of it being a candidate’s market and tech & startup companies running around trying to fill all of their open roles. What are you looking for in new oppts now? What’s important to you to convince you to join? How do you distinguish the “good on the surface/sells you on BS” vs. actually good companies?
I hope everyone is taking the opportunity to get out and vote for candidates that are PRO EDUCATION! Our votes can impact us, our students, our colleagues, etc. (By the way, our Union shared how many educators are not taking advantage of voting and those votes would have flipped some races to PRO EDUCATION CANDIDATES!).
Do I need to be a top performer to get hired client side/tech/etc. as a creative (copywriter)? My book really isn’t anything special but also wouldn’t mind looking outside the agency world.
Tech consulting (cloud) offers. Which one to choose? Accenture - Cloud Native Application Architect - 180K - 20K signon Insight DI - Architect I - 167K base + 10% bonus - 5K sign on Money & benefit wise acc. looks good but I am concerned about the WLB. Also, I interviewed for Cloud native sr. architect. Recruiter came back with 'great feedback' but is now asking me to apply for application architect. It doesn't make any sense to me. Is that normal? It seems there was a goof up from recruiter
I fired my largest client today. 🙀 Sometimes it just isn't a good fit. It has to be a fit for not only my client but also for my agency. We're selective about the work we take on because relationships do matter, and strong relationships = better results. Today was liberating. What a breath of fresh air. We are accepting new clients for everything marketing related including graphic design, website design and development, SEO, digital campaigns, product photography, and video production.
I’ve been feeling really down about my job lately. Last night I randomly applied for a job at EY-P that I thought I perfectly fit the bill for. Within 12 hours I was reached out from a recruiter and was asked to schedule an interview. Even if it doesn’t go much farther It feels like the confidence boost I needed to know there are other options out there for me.

Does Deloitte use outside recruiters? Wondering because I got contacted from a 3rd party recruiter for Deloitte positions. Somehow I got the impression that Big 4 reach out to the candidates themselves. Has anyone at Big4 heard about someone hired via an outside recruiter recommendation?
New to Deloitte, How is the promotion path defined to go from Solution Specialist(SS) to senior SS? Eg. how many years in SS should we work before asking/making our promotion case for SSS
