Would anyone be willing to chat who made the jump from big 4 —> tech —> MBB? I did not have a great experience in tech and looking to pivot back into consulting. Went to a non-target undergrad but 10 YOE at good firms.
Are there jobs in advertising (or out for that matter) where taking vacation time doesn't feel bad?
Trying to get some data points for potential negotiations, what kind of signing bonuses is NYC BigLaw offering right now in this lateral craze to senior associates in M&A support specialist groups with typical high demand right now. Anyone's firms giving them retention bonuses to stay?
What are the pay bands at Slalom BA level for 2 YOE? What’s a reasonable as or negotiation? Currently looking at new opportunities and hoping for some more insight about benefits
I think I want to have a baby soon and husband is onboard .. might start trying by year end BUT I’m worried about career progression and I worry how we will manage everything. We both work in finance and busy season is tough. My parents are around so they can help but just looking for advice from super moms on how they manage it all
Would it be weird if I reached out to someone who sort of triggered my interest in a career path? This someone has an internal C level position at my company.
Has anyone worked at, is currently at, or knows someone who worked at Cassiday Schade and willing to give feedback? Looking at pursuing a lateral move but want better insight into the firm culture.
Shifting back to India soon for personal reasons to work in a startup - any major differences between the work culture in India vs in US that I should be aware of?
Looks like my united status match is not gonna be completed by the time. Is there anyway to rebate? I am 4 segments short for gold and wonder if I can talk my way out
What's a good way to tell a potential case (that's expected to be crazy in hours and has brutal travel) that you're working on MBA apps and need a little time on weekday evenings and weekends?
Should I ask for a raise? My 6-month review is next week and I’m thinking about asking for a raise. I’ve never asked for one before and normally would never think of asking for one until at least 12 months but in the last couple of months my role and responsibilities have enhanced significantly. I don’t have much experience as this is my first job in advertising (comms background) and I don’t want to come off as naive or ignorant! Any advice would be welcomed. Thank you!
Is ATK hiring for roles requiring 2-3 of experience? Have been largely involved with finance operations work but I am interested in making a move to the supply chain space. Any insight is appreciated.

I really want to try for baby no. 2 soon but now if I would start it would put me in my busiest month of January when the baby would be due. I already went down in hours this past year because of the pandemic and my Team had to pick up the slack. I also was told yesterday that the team struggled when I went down in hours. I really want to start trying because I want my kids closer in age. My daughter turns 2 in July so I would like to start soon so they are 2.5-3 years apart. I don’t know
I’m due for a review and possibly a raise. Any thoughts on asking for a raise during a pandemic?
Good audiobook recommendations?? (Not just “self-help/business” books; open to all recommendations)
Leaving for my MBA at the end of June. My team doesn’t know - when’s the best time to tell them?
