I’m currently working at a management consultancy (approx. 5000 employees) in the data division (in the UK).

I consider myself to be a top performer and was recently promoted from the grad scheme after 1 year at the firm (compared to average 1.5-2 years). I also have an offer for similar role at big4.

Is it worth applying as an experienced hire for MBB? I didn’t go to a target university so I’m wondering how I can maximise my chances in applying.

Can someone comment on what an associate actually does at a sales/sourcing-heavy growth equity shop? Is it like a business development representative role at a tech company, in terms of the funnel/outreach/crm activities you do? Do you learn less about investing compared to due diligence-focused associate roles? How’s associate-level sourcing different from “PE analyst” sourcing?

Hi! I am both RPA & BPM certified with a total of 3 YoE. Currently, serving a bond period and soon be looking out for jobs. Compared to BPM, I have more knowledge of RPA. I have started exploring more about BPM as I am interested in both technologies. I want to work with both, a bit hesitant as I couldn't find anyone with around 5 YoE and using both technologies.
