Does Big 4 hires H1-B transfers for the positions that they originally don’t hire someone for who would go through H1-B lottery?
Deloitte GPS consultant range? I’d heard they are slightly higher than the rest of the big 4 in the public sector space
I left big 4 and jumped to ultra small boutique in UK about 3 years ago. Org design/ Op model type of work. How do I make the move to tech? (Apple, google, Spotify etc.)
Is it normal for teams to lose it on each other on a regular basis? I’m fairly new to the B4 and never experienced it at former firms. It starts at the top and it’s starting to take a toll on my performance. Not sure if I need to suck it up and deal with it or start thinking about changing teams. TIA
Anyone here have experience boomeranging back to their original b4 firm within a year of leaving for a diff b4? Does this look bad on a resume?
Considering boomeranging back to B4. It’s been a year and I miss it - the challenges, the camaraderie, the fast paced environment. Please tell me I’m nuts and shouldn’t do it.
I know of someone that got away with working for two different Big 4 firms at the same time for nearly a year before one of them found out and fired him. Curious if there are any others out there?
Does anyone know anything about the real estate advisory practices within the big 4? Which are the best firms for it, cities, ect.
Can anyone tell me what the associate to senior promo is at EY? Also, curious about other big 4/mid size firm. TIA
I came across a post boasting about perks in big4 vs park in Witch companies, here are my input 1. I started my career with big4. Although it gave a lots of perk to keep you grounded or get you in comfort zone some major cons were A. Out dated technology stack B. No work life balance C. This big 4 always carry tapes to measure your performance. 2. I recently joined a witch company and here are my inputs A. Latest tech stakes but slow pace of work B. No long working hours (gov job)
I often see posts about people getting 350K exit or 450K or more in FAANG. Are those strategy folks from Big 4 or are there cyber folks too getting these exits ? I am making close to 200k as M3 in cyber . Not able to anything that would pay more than this in non-consulting ? What roles should I target ?
At the big 4, why is cyber security usually in risk advisory/assurance and not in consulting?
Out of curiosity why is KPMG consistently made fun of and considered the worst of the big 4? I've been here a year and love working here, the people and work make me happy to come in everyday
I am considering switching jobs from Citi Tech Risk to BIG 4 Risk Advisory. What are your thoughts?
Has the hiring slowed down in big 4 FDD? Looking to make the move and wondering how long it’ll take to get an offer if all goes smoothly.
Is the a black market for rewards points? I want to get rid of my delta points for either American or Marriott points

Tie or no tie for video interview?
Remind me what it’s like working for a firm where people know how to use technology? Nobody at my firm knows how to use zoom. They don’t know how to share a screen. So they use their phone camera and it’s lopsided and shaky.
Thoughts on leaving PA primarily due to the metrics based culture (utilization, dtc, use of X digital tool, revenue, margin, etc). I find this aspect of PA stressful and exhausting but not sure if this is something you just get used to. Currently a manager and seems like the metrics just change over time / don’t get easier.
Career question. Currently a big4 financial tax manager doing mostly fed compliance. I do not wish to become a partner as selling business is not my thing. I've been entertaining two exit options. Exit now as more of a general accounting role hoping to be a controller one day vs wait couple more years and exit at SM/director level hoping to be a head of tax or tax director somewhere. The end goal for me is to make as much as possible and be able to retire from corporate grinds.
Any recs on finding a good tutor for GMAT? Should I look a different place for quant vs. verbal tutors, or are there tutors that can help with both? Also, is it realistic to think I can get someone for $150 an hour, or is that too low? Lastly, how many tutoring sessions do you think are necessary to reap the benefits? (Lots of Qs, sorry!) For context, am considering using a tutor specifically to help tighten up weak points between my 1st and 2nd sitting
I am only 22 points shy from getting 1000 points. Please upvote so I could show these points to my 10th grade teacher Alice who said I'll never be able to achieve anything in life!
What comes first - interview or waitlist?
I'm looking to move to one of the big 4 companies. I have alsomost 10 years of software engineering experience but no college degree. Is it possible to get in? If so what positions should I apply for?
I’m sick of living in NYC but can’t go anywhere.
Being sick on keto sucks! What do you guys reach for? Wanting ramen noodles, applesauce and toast ☹️
Help! I’m visiting a friend in a few weeks who just had a baby in March and I want to bring the baby a gift. Any ideas for what to get her?
Thoughts on JD/MBA?’
