Global Commodity Manager - Google Hi All, I went through the interview process with google for a Global Category Manager . The recruiter told me that base was 90K, 10-15% bonus and stocks at around 25-30K per year. This is the min level for the role, but potential of base to go up to 110K depending how the interviews went. I'm feeling like the base is low for 6 years of experience, the industry and livingin Houston. Anyone have direct comp experience to share from the company? Thanks

What level is Associate Director at Guidehouse?
Hello fishes,
I was supposed to have an online interview with Infosys for Mechanical Design Engineer but never received the meeting invite. Now when I try to contact their support team their reply was "We are not aware of the next available slots for the selection process. We have your profile in our database & will consider it whenever we conduct the selection process for your skillset and experience range in future"
Is this the kinda "support" they have to offer to candidates?
Can anyone help?

Idk but sometimes after a hard week I longingly gaze at the staff as they spend all day stuffing envelopes to mail out a new year of engagement letters. I wish I could join in on that work some days.
Residential real estate at a closing mill. I have friends who work in that area and their jobs sound boring and thoughtless— but they’re getting paid, and they go home at 5.
@attorney 1 I believe they are referring to a firm that handles residential real estate closings. In most states an attorney has to sign off on a real estate closing so there are firms that charge a few hundred dollars a pop to churn them out. It's super cookie cutter.
Document review... not much critical thinking but low pay and a bit boring.
Welding. Pipe fitting. Electrical work. Carpentry. Most military jobs. Routine police work. Anything else that is strictly regulated. Thinking outside the box in jobs like that not only isn’t encouraged; it’s prohibited.
According to a first year associate I supervise, his remit is to summarize not analyze (if I don't specifically tell him to analyze and apply to the client's facts). Yes I'm just being petty, but yes he thought he gets paid a six figure salary to not have to analyze
