Just finished my summer internship at Bain & Company yesterday. Was planning on not taking the return offer coming into the internship, but the experience has been really eye-opening and fulfilling - I just signed and cannot wait to be back next year!
Does anyone know the title hierarchy for account at Weber Shandwick? Believe it starts intern, junior associate, associate...then not sure. Thanks!
Out of curiosity, when do people take internship experience off their resume (in terms of years after college graduation)?
My sibling has an internship offer (an undergraduate student) for a satellite office of KPMG. Would anyone in the business tax division at KPMG be able to send me a message so I can ask a few questions?
I’m a newly promoted managing attorney-Right before the pandemic and all of us began working remotely. I’m having trouble getting my former coworkers to respect me as their supervisor. Some have been there way longer than me, some have developed poor work habits (previously our practice group did not have a MA). An intern got really disrespectful with me today in a text and then wouldn’t answer my call. Any suggestions? I really want to be a good manager and take our practice to a higher level
Anyone been through HireRight and can answer a quick question. Do they verify internships? I have 4 YOE and have an intern title from years ago that may come up as off (i.e. Risk Management Intern vs. Finance Intern) Will this be a huge flag? Should I proactively tell HR?
Let’s hear the UG and MBA intern offers!
Took over some comps worked by an intern... spreadsheet font is comic sans shit you not 🙄
Hi! did anyone here submit to the d5 internship and have trouble uploading a video for the elevator pitch part?
I recently received an offer for an internship with technology consulting at PwC but am more interested in the management consulting for a career. Is there a process to switch after the internship for a full time career and if so what does it look like? Thank you!
Is anybody (BB,EB) still hiring FT analysts out of undergrad for 2022. For context, I’m currently a 6 month intern at a reputable MM shop in a tech group with strong deal flow. I’m currently on two live deals and have done 3 pitches so decent experience. I also have 6 months experience working in equity research at a BB firm. The group i’m in is a sweatshop with regular 4 am nights and am looking for a way out before I get trapped.
Hi, intern here to crash the party... anyone know of Account Management jobs that might be coming open soon? I graduate in December and am frankly terrified — but I am enthusiastic!
Any Alvarez & Marsal fishes willing to chat? Trying to land a pre-MSF internship. (Prospective Vandy MSF student)
Inquiring for an intern friend; what are the tax starting salaries for a southeast region like Atlanta.
I have interest in product management. I am looking for an internship in PM. 1) What to look in a company to intern at? 2) Startup vs Big Companies?
I’m graduating with a masters in finance this fall. I just accepted an offer with Unilever as graduate finance intern. The problem is, i feel that I may be making a career mistake by entering the industry without having banking/consulting experience first. I’m just not sure if having that background vs. this career path with get me to a higher level in the long term. The FT offer will be an AFM. Prior to grad school, I worked 1 year in sales, 2 years in WM, and have a bachelors in economics. TY
It’s internship season! What’s your best advice for someone looking for an internship in the industry?
Been only scheduling meetings from morning . Like do we honestly charge the clients 500 an hour for a glorified admin job? Am intern could do a lot better than calendar invites.
Any good book recommend about Procurement I should read? Started recently, and still confused about all the different letters used. P2P, Source 2 Contract, diff between contract and vendor management.
Hi, i am currently working in sales profile in one of the leading company. I want to change my profile to SAP FICO .As i have done my MBA in finance i though to go for sap.i need some suggestions...
I currently work for a mid market firm (regionally known, ranked between top 30 and 50). I am doing well and very well liked here. It’s a great fit culturally and I rarely work more than 45 hours a week doing FDD and my total comp is 115K this year. The last transaction I worked on closed for $380M so I do get to see deals of larger sizes. I’ve only been here about a year. I got an opportunity to leave to an investment banking role. Should I take it?
Need advice on whether or not to use an MBA consultant. Any opinions / thoughts appreciated! Situation: just turned down a promotion and quit my job because it doesn’t align with my career goals and was becoming a waste of time. Planning on spending the next 10 weeks studying for GMAT and applying for new jobs/volunteering, then applying R2 for 2021. I have a 3.9 GPA in a non-traditional major (French lit) from a “fake Ivy.” Only M7s I’m interested in are Kellogg and Sloan. (Cont.)
Hey Fishes. Can someone give insights on the bonus(variable) component in Juniper salary. What part of it can one expect to get?

I have an interview with Google in a little over a week and I feel completely unprepared. I’ve been grinding Leetcode but it seems like no matter how much I do it, I need more time
Received negative feedback from my manager for the first time, I’ve been working for a few months now and this is the first time it’s happened; over arching theme was quality of work and communications etc. feel really shitty about it and I’m not sure how to deal - any fellow female fishies have words of advice or anecdotal insights, did you manage to turn it around? I really want to do a good job and take this very seriously - def want to leave the project on good terms with the manager
Thoughts on MorganFranklin consulting? -pay -culture, etc I heard pay is same as big 4 with an extra profit share bonus. Culture is more self starter, less rank and file like big 4.

Just received a verbal offer from Accenture but have a call with Deloitte later. Should I cancel on Deloitte or take the interview? 👀

Anyone have 4 AA spare upgrades? Have a long 4 hour personal flight coming up and will really appreciate any help.
CMT vs CAIA? I currently work in sales for an asset manager and have an MBA. Would like a designation, one that’s applicable to asset management and has some status/recognition. Appreciate any thoughts or insights. (Also dont want to take CFA)
Felling a little conflicted: I have an interview to exit consulting into industry. They are offering a 50% increase in salary, no travel. On the other hand, I love my current team and client but...
