Hey 🐠, I’m trying to understand if I need to be looking for lateral exit opportunities from a compensation perspective. I’m a Manager in the M&A IT practice, 12 YOE (7 in Tech and 5 in Consulting). I am happy with the work I do and the people I work with are tolerable. New base salary is $178K starting this month. Asking because I’ve heard that people should keep jumping from one company to another in Consulting to have a competitive comp. Basically guys, is my compensation competitive?

Currently in FDD. Got an offer for an in house role at a private company that is PE owned and looking to 3x over the next 3 years by doing 10-15 acquisitions a year. Talent Acquisition teams: Are you all swamped and behind in your ATS processing right now? Asking as several colleagues and friends are actively submitting REFERRED applications for well-matched roles--but not hearing anything from HR.
