What’s the most strategic exit you can make when getting a new job? I want to roll off my project and just say I am looking for a new project and just never take a new one... (sounds terrible I know) My current project contract is about to be over and a lot of people are using it as an opportunity to roll off even though they’re prolly gonna renew it. Start date for my new job is negotiable so I really want to collect as many checks and stack PTO as much as I can. Deloitte Accenture EY PwC Boston Consulting Group Accenture

Hey 🐠, I’m trying to understand if I need to be looking for lateral exit opportunities from a compensation perspective. I’m a Manager in the M&A IT practice, 12 YOE (7 in Tech and 5 in Consulting). I am happy with the work I do and the people I work with are tolerable. New base salary is $178K starting this month. Asking because I’ve heard that people should keep jumping from one company to another in Consulting to have a competitive comp. Basically guys, is my compensation competitive?

My boyfriend of 7 years gave me an ultimatum — leave big law or we’re done…Sure there are better jobs but I don’t want to leave. I enjoy the money and things could be worse. Is this a sign that the future isn’t looking hot in my relationship ?
During an interview for undergrad campus position, is it too risky to say that one of reasons u like a company is bc of their gay network/the support for queer folkx in general (id explain it in a more elegant way ofc)? Interview is with partners for MBB (M-first/final round and Bain-final round). I’m a woman also btw
Currently in FDD. Got an offer for an in house role at a private company that is PE owned and looking to 3x over the next 3 years by doing 10-15 acquisitions a year. The big appeal here is the prospects of them going public. I’m trying to negotiate some sort of stock package if they do go public, does anyone have any experience negotiating those type of packages?
Is role or company more important for tech exits? Have a FAANG sales ops offer and a bizops and strategy offer at a small post-IPO tech company. Think latter role is more interesting but not sure if having the FAANG brand name is better 2 yoe post undergrad if that helps

How hard should you actually work in consulting? Obviously we have utilization requirements so we work long hours but I’m tired of giving 100% of my brain power. Is there any benefit of working harder? IMO there’s an incentive to work slower
Hi everyone! I will be going through my first whiteboard/case-style interview for the first time (I was converted from an intern to full time at my current company). This marketing associate position would require some level of excel knowledge specifically on Pivot Tables & VLookUps for email campaign analysis. What’s your experience with interviews like these, and any tips for a first-timer? Thank you in advance!

Hello fishes, I am a Salesforce Developer with 2.2 YOE. I have offers from big4 (Deloitte, KPMG) and a product based company (Sparta Systems, A Honeywell Company). In Sparta Systems I will be working on Salesforce and cross technologies (Java, AWS). Sparta has offered me 16LPA and KPMG has offered 14.5 LPA fixed and other company benefits. Should I go for a brand or Sparta in terms of learning and career growth. Money is not a concern here. Thanks in advance for any valuable suggestions.
Required Education. Almost all jobs nowadays requires a bachelor’s degree (rarely substitute by experience). If an applicant has all the job requirements, but lacks the education, are they automatically disqualified or filtered out? How flexible is HR with education if it is a requirement?
Are exit opportunities as a partner really that much better than an intern? What's the difference?
Tips for dealing with rejection? I really can’t handle any kind of it. Even like “oh sorry, we’re at capacity with covid regulations” and I take it personally and get really embarrassed by it 🤦🏾♀️
Talent Acquisition teams: Are you all swamped and behind in your ATS processing right now? Asking as several colleagues and friends are actively submitting REFERRED applications for well-matched roles--but not hearing anything from HR. Is the need for talent real or is it overblown in the media? Or are a lot of TA people simply drowning at work or out on vacation right now? Tx for sharing if you are able! I'd like to give people some hope!
