Can foodpanda employees share about their Cloud Kitchens & Concepts team? What’s the team culture? Attrition rate? Layoffs?
Does anyone’s practice also include patent lit? I’m thinking of switching from prosecution to litigation (my firm has separate lit and pros practice groups). If you practice patent lit, is there anything that you dislike about it/anything you wish you would have known earlier?

How long does IQVIA takes to send offer letter after HR round and sending documents? HR called and confirmed the delay in offer is there since someone is on leave, he would have sent the offer last week itself.
What would be a smart way to respond when some of my colleagues (stubborn or inapt to listen, or don’t take me seriously) made me have to repeat myself more than twice (that made my frustrated and angry)?

I currently do website/digital experience strategy at a large creative agency and really want to transition into client-side, business strategy at a tech company. I worry that my skills aren’t transferable but maybe I’m looking at the wrong titles. Anyone been able to do this successful that would lend me 20 minutes of their time to ask some questions? Thanks in advance!
Any indication that EY drops vax requirements for office/in-person events? Would be great to have this.

I would like practice in nyc, but I am having a tough time knowing how to start when I have little/no networks in nyc. I have lived in the area I am in for a long time and need a change. Advice pls!
Anyone have any insight into Kaplan Hecker? Thinking of leaving my firm for a lit boutique, and really just starting to feel out what’s out there. I know the hours will be the same, but any insight into the type of work and culture there would be much appreciated! Also welcome any alternative suggestions (note that I do not have a clerkship, which will be a barrier to some).
Anyone else on a subway this morning wondering whether they missed the don’t take the subway memo....

Hi there, starting new in private practice. My job requires billable hours. Anyone know where I can find a list of terms and descriptions I can use when I am billing clients? TIA
Looking to move to Manhattan early 2022 and taking building suggestions or recommendations! Would like a luxury rental in mid/high-rise (doorman, laundry in building, modern facilities), preferably located near midtown/ Hell’s Kitchen and within 10 minutes from a subway station. Will also consider other areas if commute to midtown <20mins via subway. Not looking to lease from private owners. Budget is less than $3800 monthly (but prefer $2600-3200) for studio or 1B. TIA!
If you had the opportunity to leave nyc doing exactly the same thing with the same pay as you do now in Miami would you do it?
Thoughts on Debevoise for litigation?
Hi! I’m a first-year associate working at a large regional firm. I attended a well-ranked, but regional law school and my grades weren’t stellar. School was never very motivating for me, and I put way more effort into internships and networking than my studies during law school. Luckily, I love to network and landed an awesome job at a big firm. Eventually, I’m hoping to work in-house. My question is this, will my grades always follow me? I’ve heard that with time and experience, not so much.
Does anyone have experience with being a JD/MBA student and having a firm hire you on as a 2nd year for salary purposes? Or is this just a rumor?
I know this question is somewhat vague and broad but I’ll soon be joining a Banking & Finance team (in BigLaw) as a junior associate. I’d be grateful for any tips on how to thrive in this role. What characteristics make a good junior transactional lawyer?
Firm is keeping my compensation as-is and not giving me the lock-step increase I am supposed to be getting … hours are excellent and work product is great, feels like total BS to me based on feedback from both of my reviews. I am definitely being scummed.
Hi everyone, Im taking the Cali Bar in July and I’m looking for an accountability partner in NYC. If anyone is taking any bar and would like to have moral support and friendly accountability in the prep process while tackling BL, let me know! Thanks!
Leave or stay?
I'm a class of 2019 corporate/ecvc associate at a NY based EC/VC boutique. Just had my annual review: next year I'll be paid $175k/yr, with $10k bonus for hitting 1,600 hrs. 10% bonus on originated fees. Hours are definitely less than biglaw and the partners are nice to work with, but can't stop thinking about how I'd make almost double (albeit pretax) at a biglaw. Or should I just be happy that the tech downturn didn't bite my ass?
Anyone has information on how much first year lawyers make in big immigration law firms like Fragomen? Does it make a difference if you had prior experience in the field as a paralegal?
Random: I wonder if there are any lawyers at these offices who feel ill but are not disclosing anything to avoid the stigma of being “patient zero” in their firm.
I save every email from legal recruiters. One day, I plan on emailing them all at the same time stating my interest in lateraling and let the chaos begin.
