Hi guys
I am working in Tata Consultancy kolkata from past 3 years, planning to get transfer to TCS Bangalore(hometown). Will there be any issues if I provide fake medical certificate for my parents? Also now they are forcing me to come back to kolkata office, is there any possibly they may let me work from bangalore office even if my project ODC is not there in bangalore?

Also one piece of follow-up, the 5-day waiting period you're still considered an active employee! I just got that confirmed with HR
I don’t know the answer but I’m in the same boat. Considering pushing my leave a week in order to get my adjustment prior to maternity leave
Here's the info I got from HR. The increase will only take effect when you're an "active" employee. After your STD, you can come back in the system as active for 1 day and take pto that day to get your new salary. Then continue taking your paid parental leave at your new salary.
Unfortunately you're at a loss for the weeks you're on STD. You can consider pushing off your leave until your new salary is in effect, but personally I dont think thats worth it (I would do the math, whats your weekly salary for the weeks before 4/1 vs what's the increase you'd miss out on for the 10 weeks of std)
Ohh yea, in that case just push out the extra day. That makes sense!
Hey there! I would call the HR help desk. I think it depends on the day they send your information to Prudential. Good luck mamas and congrats!

I am in your exact boat and wondering the same thing! I'm due to take my 4 weeks March 20th.
Not to hijack this thread, but since this seems to be the right crowd (KPMG mamas due this year) - the VC protection policy provides an employee on leave with VC award that is proportional to the % received during the prior performance year.
Considering VC was 0% last year across the board, anybody have any knowledge on how this might work this year? It seems unfair to be hit twice be the 0% (once for last year and once again prorated for this year for the time off).
Haha I asked HR, they escalated it bc they didn't know the answer. Didnt know if anyone else heard otherwise
Sorry to also hijack- can someone provide clarity to me on the actual leave we get. Is it 4 weeks STD prior to due date + 12 weeks paid + 14 unpaid? Or 4 weeks STD prior to due date + 12 weeks paid + 10 unpaid? Confused on how the STD and the 26 week job protection work together.
Thank you both!
