Thoughts on Guidehouse IT audit (Fed) practice

I am thinking of leaving my stable full time job for a contract position (ongoing with no time frame) for a bigger raise (making an exra $20/hour) with a large tech company. I'll still get benefits through Aquent so it's not a huge loss. It just feels risky in terms of being a contractor and the potential for it to end at anytime. Seems like a good opportunity though to get my foot in the door and potentially apply for full time jobs later on

My parents have off the books debt with some people I don't know. They are in a "payment plan" that brings their balance to 0 by 2023. AFAIK it's not a life threatening situation. I've made the conscious choice not to see them until the debt is paid. Asking for opinions on what others would do in this situation. Historically I've already helped them pay a sum of 20-30k the past 10 years. And I made this "selfish" choice so I can start financially planning for my own life.

Hi fishes.. Advice required since I am confused. Profile - MBA from one of the IIMs, Deloitte S&O, total and post mba experience = 2 I am getting an industry offer for 34 LPA which I feel is huge considering my experience and role also seems good. My only confusion is that I feel if I stay in Deloitte for 1-2 more years, I might be able to switch to MBB or Kearney. I always wanted to try the client site lifestyle and might get better exit opportunities after that. What should I do? Thank you.

What is the difference between Principal Design Strategist & Design Strategist? My current title is the latter and I’m interviewing for a Principal role. The title suggests it’s more senior and would appear to be a promotion on my resume but the jd sounds similar to what I’m already doing. I’m currently and IC, Principal is also IC. The only nuance I got from the recruiter is that there is no actual designing in this role. Is this a case of title inflation?

Is anyone currently doing “social media audits” as a live workshop with client? Curious if you have found those successful. My leadership has tasked me to find a way to do this to save hours. My concerns are I’d be screensharing to poke around social and ad accounts, competitor profiles, show social tools and pull search results live, provide live insights (which would not be well thought out or researched) and not have something tangible like a deck to share at the end.
