Hey Deloitte fishes, I joined recently and still haven’t been allocated to a project. Today I checked my staffit and it displays Hold status till Dec. What is this any idea?
Right now, I have the Southwest Rapid Rewards card because a) when I fly the family, Southwest works best for us (but travel for work is AA). I have 500K+ SW points. Also Hilton Diamond with about 300K points (had more but just redeemed a bunch for a family trip). I hear about the Chase Sapphire Preferred, the AA Citi card that has a big annual fee but includes a lounge membership. My goals are being met (free or cheap travel for family trips), but I wonder if I'm leaving money on the table and could be getting more out of my points earnings. Any suggestions on what I should do differently or change with my strategy?
I got a offer from PWC SDC Bangalore. My initial joining was June 1st week. Can I delay the joining by 40-45 days, as I have some personal emergency. Will PWC SDC send out a new offer with the new joining date?

Currently in the US but interviewing for a UK-based firm and role. The comp level they are throwing around is £250k TC. Is this reasonable for a Director-level role with 12 YOE? My comparator would be wait 18-24mo to become a consulting partner - in the US that starts at $450k/£325k. For the purposes of this question, assume I’m optimizing for initial comp, not long term potential, and not livability, Intl experience, WLB, CoL etc. Thanks!
I'm really struggling. My company just furloughed some staff and I'm beating myself up about it. I keep thinking maybe there was something I could have done better to get the right kind of leads or maybe I made the wrong call on a pitch that could have brought in enough business to save people's jobs. Anyone else have these feelings? I know its survivor's guilt, but I feel like I've let my coworkers and their families down.
Every paycheck I invest 1500 into VTSAX. Is this good or should I invest in something else. I am 24 if that helps. I also invest into a taxable brokerage account. Should I be putting this money into a 401k instead. I chose brokerage because I do plan on buying a house in next 5-7 years so want to have access to the money.
Hi, I'm the intern. Do you like cream or sugar?
Some companies like Morgan Stanley are starting to require that their employees be vaccinated to come back to the office. Where do you stand on this - should your employer be able to require vaccination? Personally, I think they should be able to, but curious to hear your thoughts. Is your company requiring vaccination?

For married or live-in couples… how do you split expenses? Do you have joint accounts? Do you talk about money, savings, investments, etc.? My partner and I make roughly the same (his base is slightly higher but my bonus potential is more) and we have great communication about money and how to share expenses but just trying to understand how other couples do it because it’s not something people openly talk about…
