Reasonable base compensation expectations for regional general counsel position (direct report to CLO)? From what I can tell, company revenue is $500M - $1B (privately held company, so tough to know); construction industry (infrastructure / energy / mining); midwest headquarters. I’d be at the lower end of the experience requirements. Looked at MLA report, but looking for additional thoughts/opinions. Thanks!

Hi everyone! I am interviewing for an international Employee Engagement Specialist role and I am unsure of what the compensation range would be for my experience. I have about 7 years of experience, SHRM-CP certification and Bachelors degree. I live in Georgia. I am thinking approximately $80-85k? Am I far off?

I have around total of 3.5 YOE but only 6 months experience as a SOC analyst. My previous experience was as a technical analyst (tech support role) . I wish to switch companies as I feel severely underpaid. However would I get any offers with my experience?

I started my professional career in the fall and have only been wfh since. Looks like wfh till September. I have struggled with a lot online: onboarding, relationship building / networking, and motivation. In fact, I am feeling really burnt out in the past two months. Who else has begun work online and is struggling to get into their role? What have you done to overcome the wfh situation? For experienced PMs, what advice do you have for us who have only known wfh this year?

Got an in house offer at global company for 130k, $5000 signing bonus. They know I make 150k.

What’s the appropriate counter offer? Don’t want to be offensive because I really want this job, but also want to look out for my best interests. Boston market, IP counsel position.

Landed a job in NYC. As much as I want to live there and will be moving in with my partner I think the most financially savvy option is to live in Jersey city to save on the city tax. Both our salaries would definitely go up next year so moving to the city would be a huge possibility in 2022. Has anyone else started our in Jersey city first ? Is it worth it or should I just try to make it work in NYC ?

I want to get my PhD, but all of the programs I want require a full time commitment for the first year. What are my options? Is a sabbatical an option? Or would I have to straight up resign? Utilization notwithstanding (I’m a GPS consultant)…is it possible to go part time? I completed my master’s full time while a full time Deloitte consultant. I know school can be done, but for PhDs they usually want you to also work as a TA. Additionally, I am not interested in online programs.
